Cathan Leywin Pov
Before I could deny the hooded guard Azrael jumped in front of Sylvie, while normally I would just pick him up and apologize, but this time Azrael released all of his aura, the knights all quickly pulled out their swords, as the hooded man fell on his bum.
But none of them approached, the guards and even the king could barely stand from this distance, they knew attacking would spell death, my family and Vincent's family struggling to keep standing.
Only Sylvie, Arthur, the queen, and I looked unaffected by Azrael's aura, this was the power of a dragon-- well a dragon newborn, Azrael was growling with malice at the hooded guard, I quickly rushed over to Azrael and picked him up.
"Azrael! You're being rude." I scolded as Azrael withdrew his aura and climbed up my head.
"I'm sorry for my bond's actions, your majesties." I apologized with a deep bow.
"I-it-it's fine... This isn't the time nor place to study someone else's pet. You're being rude, Sebastian." His gaze turned from fearful to harsh and greedy as he rebuked him.
"Y-yes, Sebastian you should apologize." The queen added on with a fearful expression.
"My apologies..." he said, hoping I'd complete the sentence.
"Cathan. Cathan Leywin," I finished, giving a curt bow.
The prince and princess were far enough to not be affected by Azrael's aura, although the same couldn't be said for our families, my mother being a mage was able to withstand Azrael's aura, the others were just startled.
Arthur and I rushed over to our family's side, the royal family just seated themselves still looking rather startled and scared from Azrael's actions, our family was okay, Ellie was just crying because she was startled.
We took our seats in time to hear the clear voice declaring that the auction would start soon. A cold shiver made me turn back just to see Sebastian, who had taken off his hood, staring intently at Azrael, who was nestled on my lap.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! May I say that it is of the highest honor for me to be here tonight? All of you are gathered here today for one reason and one reason only, I presume? It is to have the chance to obtain rare and valuable items in this auction!"
Applause thundered in enthusiasm at the old gentleman's ardent introduction.
"If everyone in the audience would now kindly turn to face the back room at the very top, we have a few exceedingly important figures that have decided to bless us with their presence. Please join me in welcoming the King and Queen of Sapin!" The auctioneer was the first to flick out the tail of his suit and genuflect. The audience immediately followed suit, lowering themselves respectfully in a bow since they couldn't kneel in their seats.
The King and Queen, in response, stepped out towards the window in front of us and waved their arms slowly in a practiced motion.
"Next, the one that made this whole event possible. Please give a big round of applause for Vincent Helstea!"
The auctioneer's introduction was followed by another round of applause as Vincent stepped up next to the King and Queen, giving a deep bow in return. I remained seated, looking down below at the crowds of people who were supposed to be of a much higher class than me, but I couldn't help but look at them as if they were...
No... I shouldn't think like that. I'm not some kind of high political figure anymore. Hell, I haven't even gone through puberty yet. No point in acting like someone who didn't exist anymore.
