'Azrael, do you want to go home for a little while. I need to do some training.' I transmitted while walking towards my training room.
'Yes, papa.' Azrael responded before flying off.
When I said I need to some training, I didn't mean the traditional type of training. I needed to research the books written by Thoth. I knew they weren't standard books.
I walked towards the massive double doors and placed my palm on them. The doors glowed and slowly opened to reveal the familiar field-like training room.
I sat down next to the fountain and pulled out the book I got from my father. This book looked to be older than the one I got from Gideon. Right before I imbued mana into it, a terrifying pressure flooded the room.
"At last, we finally have a bit of privacy to converse peacefully," a voice rang in my ear.
Suddenly, my vision shifted, and I was no longer in the magnificent garden. I was in a plain white room. I could feel myself gape, but even the words to express my confusion wouldn't come out.
Without being able to muster up even a voice to curse in surprise, I just idly waited. Inside of this white space was only an unfamiliar three-eyed man and me.
Despite his age, he stood, poised, with his hands elegantly placed behind his straight back. Both of his eyes were closed, bringing further emphasis on a third, unblinking eye in his forehead that glowed a radiant purple.
"Who are you?!" I questioned, mana covering every inch of my body.
"Greetings, I go by Aldir. I felt this form would be more appropriate for our conversation," the man announced matter-of-factly.
I nodded my head at this before speaking. "Shouldn't it be common courtesy to tell me exactly what is going on? Who or what exactly are you? Why did you bring me here?"
"Indeed it should be. If I were to introduce myself in a way that you could comprehend, it would be something like this; I come from the land of the Asura, and I'm what you call a deity." Aldir's single eye studied me closely.
"Deities? The deities that supposedly blessed the three races with artifacts that allowed them to use magic?" I feigned ignorance of what the asuras are.
"There is no need for you to feign ignorance of what I am. The Asura are aware that you have come into contact with Miras." Aldir sighed.
"What do you want from me? And how do you know Miras?" I questioned with a serious tone.
"We want to help you in the upcoming war. Usually, you wouldn't be relevant even with your ability to manipulate all four elements, but there are three reasons why you are unique." Aldir spoke, his eyes studying me again.
"Which are?" I raised a brow.
"First off, your draconic body ensures that with time you will be seen as one of them. A lesser type of dragon perhaps, but a dragon non the less." Aldir answered.
"And the second and third reasons?" I quizzed again.
"The second reason is your relation to Miras. As for the third reason, it's your bond." Aldir replied patiently.
"I know Azrael is a dragon but is he special enough that Asuras would train a human?" I asked while looking at the 'ceiling' of this white room.
"Yes, he is the most important Asura. He is the son of Lady Sylvia and possesses powers similar to her own. Even Asuras would drool at the chance to gain Lady Sylvia's abilities. Perhaps his abilities are even more powerful, and he is the next in line to lead the Indarth clan." Aldir answered, his tone and single eye filled with respect.
