Azrael Indarth Pov
"Wait... Why didn't he make another room?" Caera asked, staring at where Cathan teleported.
"Even I don't know what's on his mind." I shrugged helplessly.
"When did you meet Cathan and Gr-Arthur?" Cecilia asked, almost calling Arthur Grey.
"I met Cathan when I hatched. I met Arthur and Sylvie later that day. Cathan has been taking care of me since then." I replied with a nostalgic smile.
"Wait, how old are you?" Caera asked.
"Twenty-two," I answered casually.
"Wait, aren't Arthur and Cathan twenty?" Caera raised a brow.
"One of our training sessions went wrong, leading to Azrael living fifteen years before we got him out," Uriel stated, announcing his presence.
Caera and Cecilia screamed and fell over as they realized Uriel was there. "Vritra!" "Jesus!"
"Not quite. It's just Uriel." Uriel stated with an amused smile.
Caera jumped up. "How the hell did you do that? You wisped away when Cathan left."
"I don't have a physical form. This body is made purely of aether, so I can reshape and control it as I see fit." Uriel demonstrated by turning his head into a blade, then back.
"Wait, from what I learned from Grey, won't someone be able to control your body?" Caera asked.
"That depends primarily on control. Most aether users are the Indarth clan, who have not learned to influence aether over something they deem trivial. The rest of the living aether users lack experience." Uriel explained.
"Hmm." Cecilia stared at Uriel with a mesmerized expression while Caera was deep in thought.
I sighed as the two girls stared at Uriel with interest. "Uriel, do you mind setting up the training room?"
"That won't be a problem. You should practice your destruction rune now that we removed the seal." Uriel took a step forward and teleported next to a wall.
Uriel placed his hand on the wall, and dozens of purple and black runes appeared before slithering around the wall to form a giant hourglass. After a click, the wall began to slide down and revealed a massive and heavily fortified room.
"This is a training room?" Cecilia's jaw dropped while even Caera was awestruck.
"We designed this training room to allow a few dozen white core mages to train in secret without holding back," Uriel explained as the runes on the wall lit up, most likely protection runes to dampen the sound.
"Wouldn't an asura training destroy it?" Caera's voice echoed throughout the room.
"I'm still a child compared to the other asuras who lived for thousands of years," I grumbled.
"Sorry." Caera sheepishly scratched the back of her neck.
"If you two love birds want to be alone here, we'll leave you," Cecilia smirked.
"W-What?" Caera let out a startled laugh with a flustered expression.
"You two do seem like a compatible match." Uriel shrugged.
"Hey!" I yelled out in protest.
"Do you really have statistics on relationships?" Cecilia asked disbelievingly.
Uriel nodded. "Around three thousand entries."
"I'm just going to train." I let out a long sigh. "I'll be training with realmheart, so you should probably close the wall or something."
