Cathan Leywin Pov
I sat in front of the person claiming to be Thoth, who just offered to answer any question I might have. There is one thing I've always wanted to know.
"Who is Miras?" I finally spoke.
"So you have met him..." Thoth uttered before changing his seating position. "Miras... A sentient weapon created by over two hundred of the strongest Djinn."
"Are you saying that he is a weapon?" I raised my brow.
"That is what he is at his core. We created Miras using the body of a dragon as a base. Challenging won't even begin to explain how hard it was to transform a dead body into a sentient weapon." Thoth explained with an extremely prideful tone.
"Why did you need to create a sentient weapon?" I questioned while tapping my finger on the chair.
"He was not created for destruction and death. We created Miras for the preservation of knowledge and life." Thoth answered while pointing at my heart.
"You mean there are living Djinn?" I bolted up.
"No. After the Djinn went extinct, We sent Miras to another dimension, where he watched over humans who carried our blood. Those humans are now known as emitters." Thoth replied with a crest fall and angry tone.
I pushed the thought of emitters being descendants of the Djinn to the back of my mind. That meant both Thoth and I might relate by blood. Just what was our relation?
"How did the Djinn go extinct?" I asked, sitting back down.
"I'm afraid I can't tell you just now." He sighed.
"Are you related to me?" I asked with a raised brow.
"Yes. You are my descendant. It's been a few thousand years, so my blood is but a mere essence." Thoth explained.
"I see..." I muttered while pondering what to ask next.
"I'm afraid this is all I can answer for now. My consciousness needs to rest." Thoth stated.
"Can I see you again?" I stood up.
"Yes, you will be able to see me soon." He replied before waving his hand.
"Goodbye... Grandfather." I grinned.

"Kraa!" I heard a croak.
"You cannot interfere just yet, Azrael." I heard another voice.
"Ugh..." I groaned as I sat up and opened my eyes.
"Cathan, you're awake!" The voice exclaimed.
'Papa, you're finally awake!' Azrael's voice rang in my head.
"Wh-Who?" I muttered while I focused my blurry vision on the source of the voice.
My vision eventually stabilized. And I studied the boy who was the source of the expressionless cold voice. He had pale skin, short blood-red hair, and eyes.
"M-Miras?!" I stuttered as I quickly bolted up to my feet.
I was inside my training room next to the fountain. The room hadn't changed one bit. Only Azrael, Miras, and I were inside the training room, which led me to believe its night time.
"You've grown, Cathan," Miras noted with a small smile.
"Sorry, I can't say the same for you." I teased as I took him into a hug.
"Kraa!" A croaked pulled my attention to Azrael, who was watching me expectantly.
"Ah right. Azrael, this is Miras. Miras, this is Azrael." I introduced the two of them while scratching the back of my head.
