Just some nice family time with the peculiars.

Y/n was declaring a family night with the peculiars. Miss Peregrine surprisingly agreed to change schedule and join, but of course we would have to return during loop reset.

Everyone was excited, well almost everyone. Enoch could have been a bit more excited but oh well.

We decided that a nice trip to the beach would be the most fun. Claire was the one who came up with the idea.

We got ready to leave around 4 leaving us time to be there till loop reset time.

Everyone got their bathing suits and left along with Miss P and you.

You weren't planning on swimming so you didn't bother with a swimming suit.

"Dear, did you want to swim?" She asks.

"No, I wasn't planning on it." You reply.

You look over at Miss Peregrine and see she wasn't wearing one either.

"Looks like your not either." You chuckle.

"Well excuse me." She says sarcastically.

This time you laugh making her do the same.

When we arrive to the beach, the children took off towarde the waves where you and Miss P stayed on shore.

"It's beautiful out here," you whisper, mainly towards yourself but Miss P heard.

"Agreed." She says.

Y/n looks over at her to find her already looking at her.

Miss P had that look as if she was planning something.

You squint your eyes.

"What are you planning?" You ask.

"Oh nothing, dear." She smirks.

You look behind you to see Hugh standing there with a bucket of water just waiting to be spilt on you.

"Don't do it, Hugh," you jokingly warn.

He laughs and drenches you with the water, leaving you a wet mess.

Miss Peregrine laughs.

"Oh this isn't over." You say in a low voice.

She abruptly stops and squints at you.

You run into the water and dive after Olive.

"Olive, I need your assistance." You say.

"Oh okay!"

You whisper the plan into her ear and she starts giggling.

"No, don't, Miss P will catch on!" You say smiling.

"Okay," she says.

Olive runs to the shore and says that y/n was in trouble causing the ymbryne to jump out of her seat and run to the water.

You wait under the water for the perfect moment.

Just when you seen Miss P coming you grab her legs and drag her under.

You both shoot up to the surface then, gasping for air.

Miss Peregrine sees you and swims after you.

"Oh your not getting away this time." She says and goes under the waves.

Although when you look under, she was nowhere to be found.

When you resurface, a bird lands on your shoulder - specifically a falcon.

Peregrine Falcon.

You laugh and pat its head, getting a squak at you for it but letting you continue.

Before you knew it, it was loop reset time and everyone had to head back early to get freshened up.

As you were walking back you slowly seem to tilt on your side from being exhausted. Miss Peregrine notices and goes over to your side and lays your head on her shoulder.

You look up at her surprised for a moment.

"What? You want me to carry you instead?" She asks jokingly.

You quickly look away with a smile.

Miss Peregrine smiles as she looks up from you to the children.

"It was a beautiful day, indeed." She whispers.
