One moment your somewhere in danger or having the time of your life. The next you wake up and almost become loopy about where you are.
Y/n awoke from the middle of the night, sweating and tears running down their face.
It wasn't real.
((MWAHAHAH PLOT TWIST))
It was all a dream. Mr. Barron is long dead and your still in the home, the home for peculiars.
You take a deep sigh of relief and look over when you realized Alma was staring at you.
You flinched back from the scare and smiled when you saw it was her.
"Dear, are you alright? I was asleep when I heard you so I'm sorry I wasn't able to wake you sooner." She says.
"No, no it's alright." You say with a smile and Alma rejoins you in bed.
She cups her hand on your cheek, wiping your tears.
"What was it about, little Bird?" She asks worried.
"Nothing, BlueJay. Now get back to sleep." You say with a little laugh at the end.
You almost seem to fall asleep immediately just by looking at Alma and seeing how relaxed she was.
No, Mr. Barron...
