Oceans Apart by eternitea40
What I loved: Skylar is back again to tear people's hearts to pieces with this short, heartfelt story about loss, regret, and second chances that were not given. I seriously love every bit of it. It's presented in an upgraded epistolary in the form of emails and voice calls and I think it captured its message and themes well with enough emotion in between the lines. It's just...amazing. The prose, the symbolism, the title, the plot (yes, there's one), and basically everything. It's such amaze. uwu.
What didn't work: Nothing. It's perfect. xD
What can be improved: Also nothing. I find that short pieces like this rarely has anything left to improve because they're usually so perfect. Like this one. uwu.
Final verdict: 10/10 in my scale since this is really, really gorg. I enjoyed every bit of it and it honestly struck my angst chord because of that ending. Hehe. I love it. Keep writing, Sky. I seriously look forward to when you're going to write full-length novels because you're amazing. ^-^
