2. Flashbacks

-One week later-

I was laying on the bed when I heard a voice, I turned my head and saw Scarlet Witch standing, looking at me 'Wanda Maximoff?' the doctor said, Scarlet Witch looked over to the doctor 'yes?' she said and the doctor said something in her ear, she nodded, Black Widow walked into the lab and looked over at me, the two walked over to a shelf, grabbed something and walked to the door of the bubble, they both held the object behind their backs and got inside. THe doctor flipped a switch and I saw a black mask going over the bubble

I couldn't see but, no one, in and outside could see anything, I backed away, slight scared of what the two women will do, they don't see anything right? I thought 'Nat' I heard a voice and two strong arms grabbed my waist, my breath hitched 'so y/n' I heard Black Widow's voice in my ear 'why is it so dark' I said 'you'll see' she said, I felt two hands applying something to my head and I squirmed 'no' I muffled but after I opened my eyes I saw Scarlet Witch standing in front of me, I could see her just fine

'what did you do?' I asked 'night vision glasses, so we could see you' she said, I looked behind me and Black Widow still stood there 'and you could see us' she finished, I squirmed and got out of Black Widow's arms 'okay so, what now?' I asked, I stood ready to defend myself 'Y/n we aren't gonna hurt you' Scarlet Witch said 'last time someone said that to me, I got hurt' I said and looked towards them 'so, tell us more about yourself' Scarlet Witch started 'why would I identify myself more than who I am, how old I am and where I live, even that stupid doctor keeps asking me questions' I said and scoffed

Black Widow walked towards me but I backed up, soon to be pushed against the walls 'Nat' Scarlet Witch said and came towards us, Black Widow had her hands against my shoulders to hold me against the wall while I saw Scarlet witch do things with her hand, I saw red and she held her hand out towards my head, I closed my eyes in fear as I was replaying the scenes of the Red Room and my experiences there

-flashback-
(Y/n is 7)
'this will hurt like a sting from a bee' the man said as I was tied up in a bed, Dreykov stood next to me and smirked 'I am scared' I muttered 'oh don't be, it will soon be over' Dreykov said and I turned to the doctor, he had a needle in his hands, I looked next to him and saw a knife, chip and more things 'what is going to happen?' I asked Dreykov 'we are just gonna implant that little chip into you so I can communicate with you, and you'll be much stronger' Dreykov said and I felt the needle in my neck, I then drifted off to sleep.

I woke with an immense pain in my leg, I also felt slightly stronger 'Y/n wake up' I heard Dreykov's voice 'yes' I said and stood up, he stood in front of me and smirked 'I see that it worked' he said and I nodded 'yes' I answered 'you'll have to train, let's go' he said and I followed.

-few years later-
(Y/n is 18)
'target just achieved the package' I said in my ear but then she saw me 'target has seen me, stay in position I am going down, Yelena come with me'  I said and jumped down, just before I hit the ground I flew a bit to steady my landing, Yelena was next to me.

I looked in the street and there the target was, she was running, I held out my foot and she fell over it, I saw the package and ran towards it, but the target had it faster, I started attacking with my knife, Yelena stood as backup

she had my arm but I let go of my knife, letting it fall in my other hand and stuck it deep in her stomach, I then twisted it and she fell onto the ground, I turned her around to grab the package but she sprayed something in my eyes, I felt weird, as if I was freed from something 'oh god' I said as I saw her laying on the ground, she gave me something 'g-go, make s-sure the others a-are freed' she stuttered, Yelena was now behind me 'good job y/n' she said 'y/n did you achieve the package?' I heard someone in my ear, I grunted 'st-stay there i'll come with it' I said and my head was full of questions, I knew what I had to do, the chip, I had to remove it. but first

I turned to Yelena and quickly grabbed that red stuff behind me, I walked over to her and she looked at me, then I sprayed and her eyes went from red to normal 'you okay?' I asked blocking my microphone 'yes, oh my gosh' she said and looked at the girl behind me 'we have to leave' I said, I looked at my leg and hesitated, I stuck my knife in my leg and I grunted once again, Yelena followed my actions.

I moved my knife until I could get the chip, I grabbed it and threw it onto the ground, then grabbed the package, I have to go back to New York City, I thought 'I am going to NYC, you coming?' I asked 'not now, i'll see you soon, I am going to Budapest, I need to find my sister' she said, kissed my cheek 'okay, good luck' I said and she ran away.

-end of flashback-

I was brought back into reality when the two arms which pushed me against the wall loosened, I looked to Scarlet Witch and Black Widow who were white from shock 'w-what...' I said and looked at myself, Scarlet Witch launched at me and engulfed me into a hug 'y/n we didn't know you've went through all of that' Scarlet Witch said 'uhm Scarlet Witch I don't know what you're talking about?' I said 'you were an Widow, you've freed yourself, you've freed Yelena!' Scarlet Witch said 'Yelena? I freed her yeah' I said and Black Widow's eyes widened

'Y/n it is time you meet us properly, sorry we've scared you, I am Wanda Maximoff, known as Scarlet Witch' Wanda said 'and I am Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow and an ex-Dreykov agent' she said and my eyes widened, like I knew about the avengers but not that much that the Black Widow was trained in the red room

'I'll get Tony and Steve' Wanda said and Natasha nodded, Wanda left and I was alone with Natasha 'and now?' I said, Natasha looked me in the eye 'I don't know, Wanda is getting them and they will decide' Natasha said 'do you trust me?' I blurted out 'if I wouldn't trust you, I wouldn't be standing here' she said 'I mean, you are Black Widow, you have courage' I said and chuckled, she laughed with me

Then the mask over the bubble became smaller and smaller, they've flipped the switch, I looked behind Natasha and saw Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, Natasha was also turned around and looked back at me, she took a step towards me and grabbed my hand 'they won't hurt you' she said and my body heated up, she saw I was tense 'I promise' she once said and I calmed down a little

'Nat' Stark called, she let go of my hand and I looked at Tony, then at Wanda who looked rather... mad? or jealous? I couldn't read her, Natasha walked out of the bubble and walked towards Tony

-Wanda's pov-

ugh she really was close to y/n, I couldn't stand when she had her hands on her shoulders but now holding her hand and whispering things to her, y/n, the first time I saw her I was sold, that girl needs to be mine, I thought mad, I saw her look my way and I looked in her eyes 'yes?' Natasha said getting me out of the eye contact with Y/n 'so, what did you two discover that was so important?' Tony started

'I've read her mind, she is an escaped Dreykov agent who escaped' I told him and his eyes widened, he looked over to y/n and then back to us 'you sure she is an escaped agent, not just undercover, trying to kill us all?' Tony asked

'she removed her chip' I said 'without chip she can't communicate with Dreykov, we should check her body and mind with J.A.R.V.I.S' Natasha said, Tony looked over to Steve

'I think that is an good idea, we have to make sure she isn't an undercover agent, let's set up the mind testers, in the meantime, one of you, bring her to a room, I will go to Fury and he can think about what to do with her' Steve said, all of us were silent for a moment 'who is going to get her?' Tony asked and I looked at Natasha 'i'll do it, if she tries to run I can manipulate her and take her by mind' I quickly said and walked towards the door

'maybe you should help Banner, you are advanced with minds and he isn't' Natasha spoke up, I looked over to Tony 'I find that idea the best, Natasha takes the girl to a room until Fury can talk to her, i'll ask Fury if he has time, first make sure she is clear' Tony said and I groaned in myself. Natasha walked over to the door and I walked away, when I left the room I saw Natasha enter the bubble

-Natasha's pov-

'let's go' I said and she looked at me 'I didn't hear the conversation, where are we going?' she asked 'we are going to my room, waiting until Fury can talk to you, are you comfortable with that?' I asked and she nodded, I walked towards her, she slightly backed away 'y/n, I know you don't trust me but can you try?' I asked and I saw she was in deep thought

'well, i'll be out of this so sure' she spoke up and walked over to me, I grabbed her hand and she flinched, I squeezed it 'it'll be okay' I reassured her and we walked out the room.
