Jackie POV

"Hi dad.." I said walking up to his gravestone, and I squatted down on my knees, putting the roses I bought on them.

"Had to come see you after everything that's going on right now, because... I thought about what you wrote me in our scrapbook." I said.

"You told me if a man disrespects me, over and over again, and I continue to take him back, then he thinks I'll never leave." I said.

I sighed a little shaking my head.

"And you were absolutely right. That's why I'm in the position I'm in today.. I really thought Roddy was the one, and he wasn't. That's the harsh truth, and now I'm done." I said.

"I wish you were here to comfort me, during this time. I don't have you or mom. It's like as though I'm just comforting myself." I said.

Then I thought about something.

"Dad... When I was mentally battling between Rodrick and Bird a while back, I remember in my head... You were telling me you knew who you wanted for me, but you were also saying it wasn't up to you... Was it Bird?" I asked, squinting my eyes a bit.

"Because I know who I want.. And who's really for me. After all these years. Wish I would've known back then." I said. "Better late than never though right?" I added.

"I feel like I learned a lesson from all of this, and this is definitely a lesson I'll teach Myrical when she gets older. That way she won't make the same mistakes with a man, that I've made." I said. Then I just sighed as I looked down at my dad.

"I miss you so much, I wish we had more time together. But I cherish every moment we did have. I love you... Sergio." I said to my dad, running my hand down the grave stone.

I stood up, and just looked down at it, feeling myself get emotional. For a lot of reasons.

I blew my dad a kiss before walking back to the car.

Bird POV

Jackie 💙 is calling...

I smiled a little answering on the first ring.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey, I just got your call I'm sorry" She said.

"You good mamas" I said as I put her on speaker while I rocked my daughter Journey and forth in my arms, she was asleep.

"What you doing?" She asked me.

"Just put DJ to sleep and now Journey. Finna lay her in the crib" I said.

"Aww" Jackie said and I laughed.

"Yeah what you on?" I asked.

"I just got home. I went to go see my dad" She said.

"Oh for real?" I said.

"Yeah, left some roses and shared a few words.. I wish we had more time, makes me so sad. Times like these I wish I had him to come to and cry to. You know?" Jackie said.

"Yeah I understand" I said. "I'm sorry.." I added.

"Don't be, it's not your fault" She said.
