"Thank you so much" I said to Maria, a real estate investor and I just bought this big ass house from her.

Went and got this house in the matter of three days.

I don't like relying on other people or getting too comfortable in other people's households, so I appreciated Da'Vion letting me and my kids stay over there with him but I knew I had to get my own place.

"No problem! I hope you enjoy it" She said.

"I will.." I said. She handed me the house keys and the keys to all the bedrooms saying "Here you go"

"Thank you so much" I said.

"No problem, thank you for choosing this house. Hopefully you and your keys enjoy yourself" She said, and I nodded my head as I was walking her to the door.

"If you have any questions or concerns give me a call!" She said.

"Okay" I said giving her a hug and then she left out of the house and I watched her walk to the car.

Now I just gotta call U-Haul to bring all of my things and my kids' things here as well.

Finally get a new start.

My phone started ringing and it was Da'Vion, I smiled before pressing answer.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Wassup lil mama what you doing?" He asked.

"Well... I just bought the house I fell in love with!" I said.

"For real?" He said.

"Yep" I said.

"Ayeeee that's wassup baby girl" Bird said and I smiled saying "Thank you Birdie."

"But I told you when you get the house I'll pay for it, why you didn't wait for me?" Bird asked and I sighed.

"I appreciate that but you already know me Da'Vion. I handle myself and I'm very independent so, I just did it by myself" I said.

"Mmm... After your divorce is finalized, we gone have a few discussions." He said to me.

"About..?" I said, and he chuckled.

"Just be patient mamas." He said, I smacked my lips and said "Fine"

"I'm still coming to your performance tonight" I said with a smile.

"I hope so because I need my inspiration there" Bird said.

"Ooooh and that's meeee?" I asked, he laughed saying "Of course.. You been that... For quite some time now."
