Chapter 12

Jackie POV

"Come on, it's time to see daddy! Wanna see daddy?" I asked Jr, putting his shoes on.

"Yep" He said cheesing. I chuckled.

Rodrick was gonna have him for the weekend, it's been about two weeks now and we just been co parenting. Of course he makes comments here and there about how he wants me back, but I just diffuse that and keep it pushing.

I pulled up to the crib, I done moved out. I'm living in a hotel right now until I find the perfect house for me and Jr. I just can't live there with Rodrick anymore and he has no idea what hotel I'm at.

I called Rodrick and he answered the first ring.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey I'm here" I said.

"Coo, I'm comin" He said.

"Aight" I said hanging up the phone. I got out the car and opened the backseat bending over unstrapping Jr.

I felt a pair of hands on my waist and I jumped a little and turned around seeing Rodrick.

"Boy don't do that, you scared me" I said chuckling.

"I ain't seen you bent over like that in a minute" He said.

"Don't start" I said laughing a bit. Never fails.

I grabbed Jr out the car seat and put him down.

"How's my lil man?" Rodrick asked grabbing him and picking him up.

"I'm good!!" Jr said with a smile.

"Here's his diaper bag, I also packed some of his favorite snacks in here and don't worry his wipes are in here too." I said chuckling.

Rodrick nodded his head and smiled a little looking me up and down.

"Stop Rodrick" I said rolling my eyes.

"I didn't do nothing" He said.

"Mhm" I said laughing.

He reached his arm out for a hug and I gave him one.

"Have a beautiful time with your son." I said.

"We will, you coming back Sunday to get him?" Rodrick asked.

"Sunday night or Monday morning. Whichever works best for you" I said.

"Can we talk afterwards?" He asked, I sighed a little.

"Sure.." I said.

"Coo" He said flashing a smile, and I chuckled. This nigga.

Bird POV

"Time to take you home to mama" I said to DJ, Justine and I's living situation right now is weird. Technically we still live together but I ain't been there.

I walked to the front door, unlocking it with my key and walking inside.

"Justine!" I said, she instantly ran down the stairs and said "Hey Da'Vion... You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm bringing DJ back to you." I said putting him down as he ran in the living room grabbing his toys out the bucket.

"Look can we talk real quick?" She asked.

"About?" I asked.

"I just wanna apologize for everything.. I love you. And I never will stop loving you." Justine said, I sighed.

"Sounds good and all but I've heard all this before." I said.

"I know but with me it's different" She said.
