Jackie POV

"Be careful baby" I said helping Rodrick inside the house with Bird and Justine.

"Shit" He mumbled in pain holding his side. I guess the cast doesn't help that much but it will in the long run.

"Come on.. You wanna go upstairs or sit on the couch down here?" I asked.

"I just wanna lay down in the bed" Rodrick said and I nodded my head.

"I'll be back yall" I said to Bird and Justine.

"Well we were actually gone let y'all have alone time and everything. We just wanted to help you get him in." Bird said.

"Oh okay. Well tap in later" I said.

"Alright. I'll see you later Roddy" Bird said.

"Aight then, appreciate you bro" He said.

"No problem." Bird said as him and Justine left together shutting and locking our front door behind them.

I slowly walked Rodrick up the stairs and got him in the bedroom and in our bed.

"Where's Jr?" He asked.

"At Layla's. I'm gonna get him in a bit so he can see you." I said.

"Aight" He said taking a deep breath as he laid back.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm coo. Thank you for holding it down" Rodrick said.

"Of course." I said giving him a kiss on his forehead.

"Nah for real Jackie. Even after all this time." He said.

"I know baby.. I got you." I said.

He sighed a little and said "I don't deserve you."

"Aye don't start that. We're married. For better for worse right?" I said and he smiled.

"Right." Rodrick said motioning his finger telling me to come here, and I leaned down giving him another kiss.

"I want you to play something." He said.

"Play what?" I asked.

"Hand me the aux to our speaker. I heard this song the other day and it reminded me of us.. And everything we been through." He said.

"What song is it?" I asked handing him the aux.

"Just listen." Rodrick said and I nodded my head hearing him play it.

"I know this feeling all too well

I was bobbin my head listening to the lyrics and I looked over at Rodrick. He looked at me then grabbed my hand placing a kiss on it.

"We been through some damage, I know we had a lot of problems but I've never had a rider like you.. And I was trippin, you was trippin, said you miss me, I said girl me too.. They notice now baby hold it down, just hold it down.. Hold it down baby" The song played.

I leaned down giving Rodrick a hug, he slowly wrapped his arms around me hugging me back and kissing my cheek.

"I see why this reminded you of us.." I said.
