Chapter 59

Roddy POV

"You look beautiful baby" I said to Jackie. Today was the day of our baby shower, she's just a few weeks before her due date so. This was the perfect time.

"Thank you! So do you.. So handsome" She said giving me a kiss.

"Thank you mamas, you ready?" I asked her grabbing her hand.

"Let's do it baby" She said.

Bird POV

Justine had DJ in her arms and I had Jackie and Roddy's son Jr in mine as I was about to announce them out at they baby shower.

It looked all girly and shit in the venue because they having a girl, everything was pink and white.

And it was packed in here, everybody showing so much love. The whole venue was filled with everybody that they invited.

"Can I get everybody attention?" I said into the mic as Justine stood next to me.

Everybody got quiet and looked at me.

"Aight so, when we all came together last time it was for this lil one right here, a gender reveal." I said as I held Jr and he smiled and hugged tighter hiding his face from everyone. They all laughed.

"But now, we having a baby shower for Roddy and Jackie's baby girl, so we gotta make some noise one time!" I said and everybody screamed and started clapping. I looked back at the DJ and he started the music, playing "High Fashion".

As the song played Roddy and Jackie walked out together holding hands and everybody screamed even louder than they were before. Jr clapped his hands too and I laughed, seeing my son DJ copying and doing the same thing.

I put Jr down and he ran over to Jackie and Roddy hugging them and Roddy picked him up as everybody took pictures.

Once the music died down, I handed Jackie the mic.

"Thank you all for coming to celebrate with me and Rodrick! We finna have a good ass time, food and drinks is to the left, the photo booth is to the right, and the dance floor is right here in the middle and if you brought gifts, the gift table is right over there!" Jackie said pointing to the left.

Then she handed the mic to Roddy and he said "Thank y'all for coming we appreciate it!" And handed the mic back to me. I chuckled, he never got much to say, anti social ass.

Roddy POV

"Thanks for helping us prepare this Bird" I said as we sat down eating at the big ass table.

"I got you" He said.

"Enjoying the Maybach?" I asked him.

"Niggaaaaaa, hell yea. I named her Gina" He said and I laughed.

"I remember you telling me that" I said shaking my head.

"You nervous?" He asked me.

"About what?" I asked.

"A baby girl, it's different from having a boy, I'm sure." Bird said.

"Yeah I'm lowkey nervous. But excited, I'ma spoil the fuck outta her" I said smiling.

"You gone have a soft side that you ain't even know you had" Bird said. "Watch" He added.

"I'm already knowing. She gone look just like her mama" I said.

"A mini Jackie" Bird said.

"Wassup Bird" I heard somebody say and we both turned around seeing Dayla, Jackie's friend. Bird scrunched his face.
