"Good to see you again girl" One of my main customers Asia said giving me a hug after she bought some clothes from my store.
"You too! I'll see you around" I said.
"Alright" She said as she walked out the store and since there was nobody else in here right now, I went towards the back and grabbed my broom, starting to sweep.
Back from Miami, and it's back to work and spending quality time with my kids, and Da'Vion.
But it's also back to bullshit. Roddy going on an interview talking shit about me and Bird.
Like... Just let it die. We're not together anymore or married so why is my name still in your mouth?
To be honest I haven't thought about him since I signed them divorce papers.
As I was sweeping, I could see from the corner of my eye that somebody entered the store. I looked and seen it was Tiara.
Here we go. I ain't even been back a good two days and it's already some bullshit.
"Tiara I'm not in the mood, please." I said to her as I sat the broom to the side.
"I'm not here for all that, I swear" She said. "Do you think we can talk?" She asked.
"For..?" I asked.
"I just, I really think we should" Tiara said, I scrunched my eyebrows.
"Okay. What's up?" I asked.
"Well uh, as you probably know, I had my baby and he's a month old" Tiara said.
"Congratulations" I said.
"Thank you. And... At first, when I first had my baby, my mindset about you was still the same. That I wanted to fight and shit.. But now I think differently" She said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I'm woman enough to say I owe you an apology for ruining your marriage and shit. When I first met Roddy, we ended up doing what we did and-"
"Well first of all let me stop you right there because you didn't ruin my marriage. He did. It was way more than you that he was running around with, and he's done multiple other things to me. Yeah you played a part, but he was my husband at the end of the day. He knew better." I said and she nodded her head.
"I just feel bad because I wouldn't want anyone doing that to me, so I wanted to make sure I apologized for my end of things. And now, I can kinda see what you've been probably dealing with the whole time. He's out here fucking this girl and that girl and still fucking Justine. That bitch answered his phone when I called him about our son" She said, I chuckled.
"Aye, you don't even need to disclose that information to me. Me and him aren't married or together anymore so he can do what he wants to do. I've moved on with my life and I'm happy, just wish him well and go on with your life Tiara. And co parent with him, that's the best advice I can give you" I said.
