Jackie POV

"Oh gosh.. What?" I said as I opened my front door revealing Roddy.

"I wanna talk to you" He said.

I sighed.

"Roddy, you can't just be popping up over here just because you know where I live." I said.

"Look, can I just talk to you?" He asked.

"About what?" I asked.

"Everything that needs to be discussed." Roddy said.

I stepped outside of the house, shutting the door because I ain't letting him inside at all.

"Wassup?" I asked.

"So this is just easy for you?" He asked.

"Is what easy for me?" I asked.

"This divorce." Roddy said.

"You made it easy with all the decisions you made." I said.

He just looked at me for a second before chuckling.

"So... You want Bird?" Roddy asked.

"I do" I said.

"Why?" He asked me. "What he got that I don't have?" He asked.

"Love, honesty and loyalty." I said.

"Mmm." Roddy said. "Jackie, whether you believe it or not, I do love you. With all my heart" He said.

I chuckled.

"Rodrick, spare me the dramatics please." I said.

"I do, probably the only woman I ever loved to be honest." Roddy said.

"Okay." I said.

"I just can't believe you're leaving me. Are you sure? I learned my lesson cuh, stop dragging it and come home. Home is with ME. Not Bird." Roddy said.

He really thinks that I'm just weak for him now. That's my fault.

But it's coo, because he'll know once I sign them papers that it's legit.

"Rodrick. It's done, I don't know what you don't understand" I said.

"I need you with me.. I need you to come home. And we can get back to how we were, before all this bullshit" Roddy said.

"Roddy you cheated on me way before this bullshit and got Tiara pregnant. She's almost due. You never changed." I said.

"Yes I did! I just fucked up along the way." Roddy said.

"Okay well either way, my mind is made up." I said shrugging.

"And that's Bird?" He asked me.

"Yep. Divorce, and I'm moving on with my life. I wish you the best with your baby on the way and all that though." I said.

"Well.. Bird is very lucky. I hope he knows that." Roddy said looking me in my eyes.

"Wow, you're really good at what you do Rodrick." I said.

"What do you mean?" Roddy asked.

"I know what you're doing." I said.

"What is it that I'm doing?" He asked.

"Trying to give me this soft shit, saying sweet nothings, thinking that it's gone get in my head and that I could possibly take you back, leave Bird and get back with you, just for you to do the same dumb shit." I said.
