Jackie POV

3:45 AM

I woke up hearing one of the babies crying but I know my baby's voice by heart so it had to had been DJ.

I looked over seeing Rodrick knocked out sleep and I got up from the bed and walked to Jr's bedroom.

DJ was under Jr's lamp, and Jr was trying to comfort him. I thought it was so cute.

"What's wrong DJ?" I asked.

"Daddy.. I want my daddy" He cried. I sighed a little.

"I know baby, he'll be back soon okay?" I said picking him up and rubbing his back gently. It's been three days and we haven't heard from Bird or Justine.

"Okay.." He said wiping his tears and I patted his back softly and kissed his forehead.

"Y'all wanna come sleep with me and Rodrick?" I asked them and they both said yeah.

"Alright come on" I said holding both of their hands and we walked to my bedroom, and I woke Rodrick up.

"Babe" I said and he opened his eyes slowly and scrunched his eyebrows.

"Scoot over a bit and let Jr and DJ lay in between us" I said.

"Everything okay?" Rodrick asked.

"DJ was crying, he misses Bird and Justine" I said.

"Oh okay, y'all come lay down" Rodrick said, and they both got in the bed and cuddled with me.

"Ah hell nah y'all too close" Rodrick said and I laughed.

"Aww you jealous" I said.

"I can't even get close to you because they done took over" Rodrick said chuckling.

"Relax it's just for tonight." I said and he smacked his lips.

"All up on you and shit" He said and I laughed because he was really jealous.

"Call Bird tomorrow and make sure he's okay if he answers" I said.

"I will." He said.

Bird POV

8:00 AM

"What are you doing?" Justine asked.

"Shh." I said.

She got us into some mess. It was definitely her but when I wrote Jackie and Roddy the note I just included both of us. Now I gotta take care of this.

I didn't get Jackie and Roddy involved because it's my job to protect Justine because she's my wife. If it began to be too much then I'd ask for help. But this ain't nothing I can't handle.

I was counting up money and handed it over to Justine saying "Band this up"

"Band? What you mean?" She asked. I scrunched my eyebrows. How does she not know what that is?

But we never included her in this type of lifestyle so.

"Rubber band it." I said tossing her a rubber band, then I pulled my pistol out my back pocket and started loading the clip.

"We gotta use that?" She asked, trying to rubber band the money but then it popped and all the money fell out of place and I sighed.

"I got it don't worry baby." I said.

"What's the gun for?" She asked. She asking way too many questions.

"Just relax. And since you got yourself in this, and our family I gotta make sure we all safe." I said.
