Roddy POV

I took a sip of my usual, codeine and percs. Something to keep me calm.

"Daddy look!" Jr said running in my room with his toys. I was watching him for the weekend, I promised Jackie I wasn't doing the codeine no more. But it keep me coo.

I know what I'm doing.

"Let me see lil man" I said sitting my cup down.

I started playing with his toys with him, then I picked him up spinning him around making him laugh.

"Mhm you gone listen to daddy!" I said laughing and he couldn't stop laughing either kicking his legs.

I don't know how in the world... But he slipped out of my hands and I dropped him on accident and Jr fell on his head. And he instantly started crying.

"Shit" I said getting on my knees picking him up and hugging him.

"Let me see lil man" I panicked, seeing he was bleeding on his forehead.

"Fuck! Jackie gone fuck me up" I said, I grabbed my car keys so I can rush him to the hospital.

Jackie POV

I was straightening up my store, sweeping it up when my cell phone started ringing.

I pulled out my phone seeing it was Rodrick so of course I was gone answer. My son is with him right now.

"Hey" I answered.

"Uh.. It's an emergency" Rodrick said breathing heavily and I could tell he was driving.

"What happened?" I asked instantly getting concerned.

"Jr fell on his head and-"

"What?! How?!" I yelled dropping my broom and instantly running to my car keys.

"We was playing and I was spinning him around... I accidentally dropped him" Rodrick said sighing.

"Oh my gosh! Where are you?!" I yelled over the phone rushing out the store making sure to lock the doors.

"I just pulled up to the hospital" Rodrick said.

"I'm on my way" I said as we both hung up.

Roddy POV

"Where is he? Where's my baby?" Jackie said barging in the waiting room.

"The doctors are working on him right now.." I said sighing, rubbing my face. I felt so bad.

"Look at your eyes. We're you doing that shit while Jr was there?" Jackie asked as quiet as she could. I looked away from her and she aggressively grabbed my chin making me look at her.

"Did you?!" She said.

"No" I lied.

"Fuckin liar" She said pushing my forehead with one finger.

"Stop doing that man" I said.

The doctor came out and walked over to us.

"So he's fine. But he will need some stitches on the side of his forehead" The doctor said and Jackie sighed covering her mouth.

"It was that bad?" Jackie asked.

"Yeah, must've been a hard fall.." The doctor said, Jackie looked at me like she was disgusted, I sighed.
