Bird POV

I was in the grocery store, getting a few things for the house, and also lowkey clearing my head.

Been tryna figure shit out with Justine, I don't really know what I want at this moment.

"Bird?" I heard a voice say and I turned around scrunching my eyebrows.

"Oh shit wassup Peaches?" I said.

"Wassup with you! You look good! Can't even tell you a daddy" She said and I laughed.

"Thank you, thank you. You look nice as well" I said. Ain't gone lie.. That lil dress doing her right. I got a thing for them tight ass dresses.

"Ah thanks Bird. How's life? You been okay?" She asked me.

"One day at a time, I'm pushing. You straight?" I asked.

"I'm okay. I just got out a relationship, 7 year relationship." She said sighing.

"Ah damn." I said. "I understand trust me." I added.

"He's the nigga that gave me the name Peaches, so I don't even wanna be called that anymore." She said.

"What's your real name?" I asked.

"Dayla." She said.

"Really?" I asked kind of shocked.

"Yeah" Dayla said chuckling.

"That's way more sexier than Peaches.." I said and she smiled.

"You think so?" She asked.

"Mhm" I said shrugging.

"Thank you.. Well I'm back to that for sure." Dayla said.

"Good.." I said.

"How's things with... Justine?" She asked. I sighed.

"I don't know Peach- I mean Dayla." I said and we both laughed a little.

"Well if you needa talk, I'm here. You know I'm gone understand" Dayla said, I nodded my head.

"I appreciate it" I said.

"You wanna get something to eat after we leave here? We can just meet up at a restaurant and just catch up a bit." She suggested.

"I'm down for that" I said with a smile and she smiled too.

"Alright, lets do it" Dayla said.

"Thank you mama for agreeing to watch Jr" I said handing him over to her.

"Oh of course" She said with a smile, and then she handed Jr to her boyfriend. They been rocking for a minute, me and him real coo.

"Where y'all going?" Her boyfriend asked me.

"Bahamas" I said.

"Please be good on this trip son" My mom said and I laughed.
