"BEL WAKE UP!" Someone shouted at Bel. They sounded a surprising amount like his dad.

"Bel Daizora, wake your head up!" Huh. Now that voice sounded like his father.

"I swear, he's worse then you," Jamie?

"I wasn't that bad," Dad again. What was up with these disembodied voices. Can't a guy stand in front of a stadium in a dark space in peace?

      "Okay...maybe I was," His dad.

      "Was?" Now his father.

"BEL BEL BEL BEL! WAKE UP IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" Jamie, it sounded like, shouted at the top of her lungs.

Bel's eyes finally opened, just a crack, to see the faces of his family glaring at him. "Oh. Good morning," he said sleepily. "Why'd you wake me up?"

"It's 8 o'clock!" Jamie, exclaimed. She was wearing blush and a pink t-shirt with a blue tie. Probably a skirt too. Maybe. Bel couldn't see from his view on the bed.

      "So?" Bel asked.

"So, you're going to be late and make Jamie late too," Bel's father explained, throwing Bel's clothes on the bed. "Change, then come down for breakfast."

Father shook his head, muttering something about sleeping in being contagious before leaving the room in exasperation. Dad followed saying "I really wasn't that bad".

Bel looked around his room. It was the same as it had been last night. There was a pink rug on the floor at the base of his bed. The wooden walls were decorated with animal and beyblade posters. Two white curtains were cracked open, letting a stream of light in through the window, illuminating dust swirling in the air.

"You didn't all have to come wake me up," Bel grumbled to his sister.

Jamie raised her eyebrow. "You sure about that?" Bel's twin asked, brushing her pink and blue bangs out of her eyes.

Jamie was right and Bel knew it. Didn't mean he had to except it though. He was famous for waking up late. Though, if family legend was to be believed, it was a trait common of Dad. Bel was pretty sure it was true, as Father could be heard using everything from a plate of breakfast to an air horn to wake up Dad.

     On a daily basis.

Unfortunately, this often woke up Bel from his beauty sleep as well.

Top that with the fact that it was far from the most outlandish family legend...

With a sigh, Bel swung his legs out from under the covers. Thankfully, he didn't really need to worry about being cold in only shorts and a ratty T-shirt. The Mexican Jungle was pretty warm this time of year. "Yo, turn around," Bel said to Jamie. "I'm not going to change with you looking at me."

Jamie rolled her eyes but dutifully turned around, granting Bel his privacy. Quickly, Bel changed into his outfit. A gray shirt with one sleeve rolled up, complete with a cat face on it. Combine that with black cargo pants, plus one cape, and Bel, soon to be legendary blader, was ready to rumble.  "I would leave the cape," Jamie advised. "You're going to be meeting knew people today. Wouldn't want to give them a heart attack."

"Please," Bel said, rolling his eyes. "I'm not going to give a kid a heart attack from a cape. I'm going to give them a heart attack when I turn into a lion."

Jamie bobbed her head in agreement. Then, she turned and left out the doorway, gesturing halfheartedly for her brother to follow.
