Threats, toxic relationships, death?, intent to cause harm/death at a later date, and very risky behavior don't be doing this guys.

Words. Cold couldn't hear the words. She couldn't hear anything Light and Dark were saying. It all blended into the background overshadowed by the immense roaring of her blood. Thrumming through her ears until it was almost painful. The dragons were speaking. She knew it. But she couldn't hear. And she wasn't even mad.

At her sides, Cold's fingers were clenched into fists. The light from the Orb was reflecting off of her skin. Making her sparkle. How beautiful she must look to all those who looked up at the stage. An ethereal spirit, gazing down upon them all. Well.

Not to him.

No, not to him, apparently. Not to him, who had just turned around. Literally turned his back to Cold. Her heels ached just thinking about it. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Fire. He looked petrified. Standing rigidly straight and not looking at her. She could see his shallow breath. So scared he could barely force himself to inhale.

Growling, Cold shut her eyes. Why? Why had she gone and looked for Fire? She could have just been patient. Waited for him to come back after Water chased him down. Nope. Nope. Nope. That image, of the two of them kissing, of him wrapped up in Fire's wings. It was inside of her head, locked there with frozen chains that would never shatter.

But what was Cold going to do about this? She wasn't letting him or Fire go unpunished. There was an idea of course. Burgeoning in her brain. Perhaps it would work. But would she regret it in the end? Cold already had the answer to that. Even if he was gone forever, it would be much better than seeing him with Fire of all people.

Fire. Cold wanted to spit at the thought of the name. Her weak willed, scrawny, scaredy-cat brother. Who had barely even been able to fight her off. What did he even see in the Sun? With the unbearable heat of Fire and the goody-two shoes attitude of all of the suns. Moreover, what possessed him to kiss her brother. They were still together.

Grinding her teeth, Cold found the face of the one who would help her. They were a team. Cold had come up with the masks. Then her partner had created them. Together they'd scanned the Suns, found Rock. Helped Rock pick out more and more suns. Found out who was right to join the Snakes. Cold's accomplice had nudged those who weren't quite ready into the role.

Black eyes met white ones. Cold knew that her partner in crime didn't know what had happened. Or maybe she did. There was the faintest glimmer of understanding in her eyes. Later, Cold hoped her gaze said. Soon. Very, very, very soon after this they would be meeting up. And then they would finalize the downfall of everyone. Dark, Light, Fire, so many more. Him. Cold had already been planning on razing those first few to the ground. Now? Now she was going to make it all the worst.

Out of the corner of her eye, Cold saw Dark raise his wings. Something the Shadow's Leader always did at the end of a speech. It was how he let everyone know they were free to mill around. Thank anything shadowy. This garbage fire of a party was almost over. Well, Cold had fulfilled her part in it all. She'd come. She'd stood up here, supporting Dark and Light. Now, she was gone. No way she was sticking around. Even if Fire tried to come up to her and apologize, it was too late. Her brother had transgressed.

And he and Fire weren't going to be forgiven.

Cold paced back and forth the rocky floor beneath her. It should have been rough, but in fact it was quite smooth. Sometimes the unexpectedness of the asteroid surprised her. Right now, that was the furthest thing from her mind. She paced back and forth, waiting impatiently. Not waiting would have been much more preferable. Unfortunately, she was unable to warp time.
