Mind did really feel better. Not great. There was still that deep seated feeling of dread deep within his soul. But, he didn't have to think about it right now. And, apparently, distractions could be somewhat useful. It would seem as though Fire had picked up on that. The sun had taken Mind's hand, and was just talking about how he wanted to take the shadow out to have mac-and-cheese.

Which did sound quite interesting. Mind really did want to try and do that. Although right now, he was more focused on meeting up with Form. And then the two of them and Blood would be back together. Maybe he would really get over whatever had happened then. It had to have been a nightmare. He didn't think so. He somewhat remembered his dreams last night. They hadn't been terrifying. But maybe he was forgetting all of the bad parts.

In front of Mind, Sight came to a stop. The shadow looked up, and recognized where they were. In the entrance to the Market, which of course doubled as the entrance to the Sun's Orb. He was learning his way around! Maybe he could help Blood and Form navigate as well. Because it was a bit of a steep learning curve. The layout was completely different from Mind's home.

But, excitement was starting to become ever more powerful within Mind's soul. It was trying and maybe even winning to squash that dread and just bundle of bad that had been within him since he woke up. So, he ran up to the top of the entrance, tugging Fire along behind him, excited to see Form. And then-

Well, Form was definitely down there.

As a matter of fact, Mind spotted Form almost instantly. His friend was standing right next to Dark. Like right next to Dark. The Nexus Force's had an order they like to line up in, more out of habit than anything. And Form was taking Cold's place. With Void on the other side of him, Dust and Drought on the other side of Dark. So, all of the Shadow's leadership, save Cold, was here.

And that wasn't even mentioning the whole throbbing mass of black eyed shadows behind those five. Mind knew some of them. Quite a few of them, actually. He spotted Chocolate, Wish, Lie. After scanning the faces for another moment, he also spotted Time, his old friend who he really didn't talk to as much as he should. All in all, it seemed like over a third of the Shadows were standing clustered in the entrance to the Sun's Orb.

Next to Mind, Fire sucked in a breath. The two looked at each other. And, without saying anything, both started to run down towards where Light and Sky were. Standing somewhat defensively, but also at the same time welcomingly, in front of Dark. Behind the two of them, Sight trailed along.

In a few long moments, the two of them had reached Light. "What's going on?" Fire asked immediately, not wasting any time. The leader of the Suns, as well as most everyone else, turned to look at Mind and his boyfriend. Some of the Shadow's thoughts seemed a bit surprised at the sight of the two of them holding hands. Oh yeah, most of them didn't know. Ah, they'd get used to it.

It was Dark who answered. And Mind was struck by how his leader looked. Like he'd lost a fight. Something the dragon had never done before. "Cold fought us out of our Orb. The Shadows you see here are the ones who stood with me. Some stayed with Cold. The rest fled into ether of space, I doubt they want to get involved. She...she threatened everyone who stood against her. I always thought I had Cold on a tight enough leash. Apparently, not," Dark growled, rage seeping through his every word.

No one spoke. Mind and Fire stepped closer to each other, both on instinct. It felt that much better being that nearer to Mind's boyfriend. Again, not perfect.Mind's ball of bad emotions was still worse than when Dark had started speaking. Cold had actually done it hadn't she? She'd overthrown Dark.

Shit.

Then, it was Light who wasn't wasting any time. "Fire, go and get Blood. Sight, go see about getting all of these shadows a place to stay. The Dark, Nexus Forces, Mind, and Form, come with me to my throne room," the leader of the suns said simply. And without room for argument.
