Panting, Rock looked around frantically. Mind could see his white eyes darting all over the place. Unfortunately for him, however, the leader of the masked suns was trapped. Surrounded by Mind himself, Fire, Light, Water, Sky, Song, and Spirit. As well as an outer layer of quite a few others. All around the circle, a crowd of suns, both with and without masks, had gathered. They were all watching with furrowed brows and half disguised whispers.

Growling, Light took a half step towards the sun in the center of the circle. "This is over, Rock," he declared with power and presence. Apparently Rock wasn't quite as much in the mindset that the sun's leader was weak anymore. He shrunk back, bumping into Song. For a second, it looked like Rock wanted to shove past the black and blue sun, but a single look from Fire stopped him.

"You really think this is over?" Rock shouted. "You haven't even caught our actual leader yet! And you really think working with a shadow is going to help your case?" Mind winced at the way he was called out. Like he was some beast unable to do anything good. Completely distrustworthy. Next to him, Fire bristled as well. "All the suns are going to see that you're useless without help, and trust the worst of us-"

Now that was clearly something that Light took offense to. "Of course I'm useless without help!" The dragon roared. Everyone all around them shut up. "I can't do everything on my own, no one can! That's why I have the Nexus Forces! I may not be that good at remembering my ideas, or finding my things, but I come up with good plans. I find ways to make things better? Like Earth's Garden, that was my idea. But I could never execute all of these things on my own. Or I would lose everything before I did. "

The leader of the suns took a moment and regained his breath, before he continued. "But I understand that there may be things I can improve on. But, Rock, and all the other mask wearers, this destruction was not the way to go about things. You all had a problem with me and the Nexus Forces. Take it up with us, not all of the other suns." Light's eyes rested on everyone, the severity of the situation inside them.

There was a long pause as everyone took that in. But it was interrupted by the loud arrival of someone Mind hadn't seen before. Their skin looked almost quilted with so many different patterns reminiscent of tree bark. Their left arm was white with black eyes while their right was brownish like an oak. Green hair piled down their shoulders and their white eyes gleamed. "Light!" They shouted, "I'm so sorry that I wasn't here to help. I got caught up in the outer hallways, dealing with some masks there. They're all tied up with vines once you get around to it."

With a smile, Light nodded. "Thank you very much, Earth," he told the last of the sun's Nexus Forces. "As a matter of fact," the gleaming dragon said, turning back to Rock. "If you could take this one somewhere where he can't cause any more trouble, I'd be very appreciative. Song, you go with her and keep an eye on Rock.

As Earth and Song nodded, the latter grabbed Rock's shoulders. They turned and walked away without a word. "And hurry back, Earth." Light called after them. Mind stiffened as Light's gaze turned to him. "We have someone else to talk about."

Fire paced back and forth, his claws clacking on the floor. He could feel Mind's eyes on him as he walked. There wasn't much else for the shadow to look at other than him, Water, Light, Sky, Spirit, and the blank walls. He was probably the least awkward of those to watch. And the most interesting, being the only source of noise or movement in the otherwise hauntingly still room.

The gaze of Mind wasn't helping Fire's nerves though. Nor helping him keep a normal heart rate. Despite all of the circumstances, Mind still managed to make Fire blush. The Sun still wondered what his friend was thinking about him. If he looked good in the shadow's eyes. As if Mind had read Fire's mind, which he had, the psychic flashed him a small smile. It was tense though. A lot was on the line for the both of them right now, but most especially the blue force.
