Bel breathed in the fresh air. The wind was blowing, causing the green trees to sway in the breeze. The school courtyard was honestly beautiful. It was a big garden with trees, flowering bushes, and paths that wound through the statues of famous scientists, artists, historians, mathematicians, and the like from all over the world, but most especially Mexico. The statues would often be holding holograms with various bits of school information, and some town news, for the students to see.

Right now however, Bel wasn't taking in the beauty and green, he was bouncing up and down on his toes, waiting for his sister and teammates to drag Den out here so they could go. To. The. Snake. Pit. Already. "Hurry up," Bel groaned to thin air. "We need to be there by five! Just cuz we have bikes doesn't mean we need to cut it close!"

It took 5 minutes for the rest of Bel's "lunch bunch", as his father seemed to love calling it, to arrive. "We ready to head out?" Bashara asked Jamie.

"I...don't...see why I... had to drag...all the bikes...here." Jamie said practically growling at Ranzo, Hana, Bel, and Bashara.

"We love and appreciate you?" Ranzo said, taking his bike from Jamie.

Jamie just glowered at him, her eyes, one pink and one blue, seemed to stare into the poor pinecone head's soul. "I'll carry them next time!" Ranzo said quickly.

       "Better."

"Wait a second," Den said counting. "There are only four bikes. There are six of us. How...?"

"Well, here we go," Ranzo said. "Hana, you make sure we have cold water. Bashara, you bring the pillow? Don't want Den to hurt herself when she faints"

"I'm sorry?" Den said. "First of all, I'm not some kind of princess who will just faint out to wazoo. Second of all, that didn't answer my question."

Bel rolled his eyes. "I don't need a bike, and, just for today you can ride on my back."

Den furrowed her eyes in confusion. "Your back?"

Bel grinned, and tapped into his power, the force he was connected to. He pictured the animal he wanted to turn into, a tiger, and felt the change slip over his body. Bones bent and elongated, his hair grew everywhere, his eyesight sharpened, as he went from a fairly small kid to an average sized tiger, powerfully muscles hidden under black and pink-striped fur.

Bel grinned, realized that a giant cat grinning was mildly unnerving and kept grinning. "This explain it?" Bel asked, his voice a tad bit deeper than before.

"Umm, umm, uh," Den said. She shook herself after a moment. "I want it noted that I did not faint. Also. WHAT ON EARTH!?"

      Bel nodded, "Noted."

"That is actually most impressive, even our parents fainted. And they've dealt with some of the more crazy stuff in our universe." Jamie informed Den.

"I guess I will ride on your back," Den muttered.

"You most certainly will not!" A new voice shouted.

Everyone turned to look at the source of the sound. Two men were walking toward's Bel's group, one was fairly tall, with a pink long-sleeved shirt, one sleeve being normal and one having gold and black flames on it. He had on a  blue tie, and black pants. He had red eyes and long white hair, and they currently appeared to be questioning if they knew the loud one.

The other had on a blue collared shirt and black jeans, rolled up to halfway up the shins. He had spiky blue hair, and an unusually distinct birthmark on their left cheek. His right hand was covered in a pink blading glove with a golden question mark on it.
