Y/N's POV -

I waved my hand above myself. There was white smoke surrounding me, and I was dressed in jeans, a black hoodie, and black Vans. I cautiously moved over to the exit, lifting the hoodie over my head. I rotated my head to look at everyone. I need to get some fresh air. A lot has happened during the last two days. I just need to take a walk and clear my mind. I discreetly closed the door and made my way out of the office to the elevator doors. I pressed the up button while waiting for it. The doors open wide. I walk in, press the top floor, and the doors close, leading straight up. The bookcase shifted to the side, which meant I was at the back in the main area. I made my way towards the doors, opening them wide. The warm air that flows over me gives me a slight shiver, but it was wonderful. I shove my hands in my pockets and stroll alone through the streets. I had no idea where I was heading, but there were no specific destinations I needed to visit. I looked up at the sky and noticed a quarter moon hanging next to a grey cloud. I was too preoccupied with the moon when I heard a few noises coming from an alleyway.

Y/n: "Hello, anyone there?"

I wasn't sure if I should go down there and see if anyone was harmed or if I should leave and walk away from the situation, but it's me, so I always go with the risky option. I walked down a few steps to see if anyone was there. It's difficult to see when there are no lights, but my eyesight gradually adjusts to the darkness. I notice a shadowy figure at the end of the alley.

Y/n: "Are you ok?"

Person: "..."

Y/n: "Okay, it appears that you are fine, despite the fact that I can barely see you. Have a good night."

I turned around and walked back to the main street. I was about to leave when I felt a sharp sensation on the side of my neck. I turned around, thinking it was the shadow figure from before, but no one was there. I didn't think anything of it; it was most likely my mind playing tricks on me. I returned to the main street and continued my walk, which led me to Central Park. The trees and flowers were all blooming in preparation for spring. I found a bench and sat down on it, going over what Doctor Strange had told us about Hydra and the Red Room. We now have to find these stones, which could be anywhere. When my eyes were getting heavier, I sat still, thinking. I was trying to keep them open, knowing that if I fell asleep, I wouldn't be able to get back to everyone, but a few minutes wouldn't hurt. I sat up on my knees, rested my head on my arms, and slowly closed my eyes. A light shone in my eyes. I could barely see anything. I massaged my eyes as the sun rose. I looked around, and realised I was still at the park.

Y/n: "OH SHIT!"

I quickly got up and made my way back to the SSR headquarters. I'm hoping no one is awake yet. I run as fast as I can while keeping my head low so no one can recognise me. I get it through by gripping the door handle, slamming it behind me, and repeatedly pressing the up button.

Y/n: "Come on, Come on, Come on, Come on!"

The doors open fully. I'm pressing the down button to get this stupid elevator to close. The lift began to drop. I started to have a minor headache, most likely from not getting enough sleep. The doors open. I rushed to the office. The doors are still closed, so everyone must still be sleeping. I was totally mistaken. I push open the doors and walk in without noticing it, but I lift my hoodie over my face and confront everyone's gaze; I'm in so much shit.

Scarlett: "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!"

Y/n: "I... I only left a few minutes ago to see if the jet was still there."

Lizzie: "REALLY? That's why, when I woke up, you were completely gone FOR HOURS!"

Y/n: "..."

Evans: "Care to explain."
