Third POV -

Rdj: "LET'S GET TO WORK, PEOPLE!"

Working hours continued day after day until the second week arrived. Each person assisted the machine in turn, ensuring that everything was assembled correctly.

Sebastian: "How's it going?"

Clint: "We're getting there; we still have to connect those wires and place down these last few panels, and I think we are finished."

Y/n: "We are getting closer and closer to getting everyone home."

Bruce: "Don't forget, we need to make suits for this travel machine; it will protect you as you guys travel through universes."

Maria: "Bruce, you can get a start on that. Clint, Peter, Stark, Thor, Carol, and I can continue these last few pieces off."

Bruce: "Alright, then let's go."

Following Bruce to a smaller lab, the others made copies of the same suit Scott had worn for the van test run, adding their names to the back so that everyone was fitted properly. Scott slipped into the costume quickly, while Scarlett measured and recorded everyone, Bruce measured the original suit and noted any features that needed to be added.

Y/n: "Looks good. I love the colours on it; it really pops the idea that we are time-travelling through different universes."

Evans: "What are those for?"

Scott: "Woah, there, be gentle."

Bruce: "I'm being careful; stop stressing."

Scott: "These are pym particles; this is the main source for each of us to shrink down, so we only have one each. Be extra careful!"

Lizzie: "Scott! Calm down, we get it."

Scott: "I'm sorry, it was already hard enough to ask Hank for 11."

Y/n: "Why 11?"

Scott: "I just got extra; we only have two for the test runs—one test run."

Sebastian: "Come on, man."

Scott: "In all honesty, I'm not really ready to test-run this. Anyone want to volunteer?"

Y/n: "I'll do it."

Scarlett: "No! Absolutely not."

Evans: "Sorry, kid, I'm not taking that chance."

Bruce: "Actually, she'll be perfect for the test run—perfect height."

Y/n: "Please."

Lizzie: "I don't know Y/n; it's very risky. What do you think, Evans, Scarlett?"

Scarlett: "I really don't want her to do it, but as long as you're brave enough and you understand what you need to do, I'll allow it."

Evans: "I agree as well."

After giving Y/n her suit, Bruce allowed her to change in the spare room. They had completed the machine and were just waiting for someone to test it out while the others came around. With her outfit on and ready to go, Y/n stepped outside. While Peggy fiddled with the key panel on Y/n's shoulder, she stood where Scott had been standing, making sure everything was clear.

Bruce: "Hannah, now you're going to feel a little discombobulated from the chronoshift. Don't worry about it."

Rdj: "Are you ready, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Yeah, I am."

Gathering around the table that operates the entire apparatus to send and get her unharmed, the others trailed closely behind Y/n as she walked outside. Y/n listened closely to Bruce's directions as she stood in the centre of the time machine.
