"(Y/N)! WAKE UP!"
I groaned and opened my eyes, glaring at him. He sighed, getting my point, "Come on, me and the boys are going to the beach! You have to come." I shook my head and turned over trying to go back to sleep. I heard him sigh again, "Come on, the Schuyler sisters are coming too!"
Still I shook my head. It wasn't that I didn't want to go to the beach to see everyone, I just didn't want to go in the water and I knew I'd be forced to at some point. There was something that neither my brother nor any of my friends (although they were his friends too) knew: I had depression and had been cutting myself. It had started when my pet turtle, whom I had named Philip (cause Author-Chan can) died, but that's all the backstory I'm willing to tell, it's hard to talk about it. Anyway, yeah.. I did want to see everyone but I didn't want to go to the beach because then I'd be forced in a swimming costume and everyone would be able to see my scars, something I did not want happening.
"Come on, (Y/n)! PLEASE?! Plus I know everyone wants to see you! And Herc's gonna be there." I could almost see the smirk in his voice despite having turned away from him, and my face was bright red. How did John know I have a crush on Herc?
"I know you like him, (Y/n). Laf told me."
Laf... you are so dead to me. You said you wouldn't tell anyone!
I rolled my eyes and reluctantly nodded.
"Ehh, I'll take that, now come on! Up and dressed."
I glared at him before looking to my door. He got the message and left my room while I got up and changed into my clothes.

"Hey, (Y/n). Wanna go for a swim?" I looked up at Herc before shaking my head and continuing the crossword I was doing.
"Okay, if you're not coming in, I'll stay with you."
