I was excited, it was John's birthday in two weeks and I knew the perfect girt for him.
Another turtle.
I woke up bright and early to get dressed and call everyone minus John over to talk about the party I wanted to throw for John, this required a lot of phone calls. Alex, Angelica, Peggy, Eliza, Herc and Laf. After I called them all with the Schuylers all eager to help, Herc and Laf slightly grumpy I woke them up at 7am and Alex going on a rage the minute he picked up and them toning down once I told him why.
They all arrived and we talked about who would be in charge of everything:
Angelica & Peggy: Decorations
Herc & Laf: Food
Alex & Eliza: Distracting John
"Hold on (Y/n), what are you going to do?"
"The most important thing, getting John an extra special present. Now everyone, back here at 4 and Alex, Eliza bring John at 5, ok?"
"Yes Ma'am!"

I walked into the pet shop and immediately went to the turtle enclosure to find the perfect on for John. I noticed Alex and Eliza there with John. Oh shoot!
"Alex, Eliza, John. What brings you to the pet shop today?"
"John dragged us here!"
Eliza dragged me away, "Sorry (Y/n), we didn't know you were coming here to get his gift. He just wanted to see the turtles."
"It's ok Eliza, I'm just gonna say I'm getting the turtle for me."
We walked back to the turtles. I found one that I thought John would love and decided to get it for him. I picked it up and paid for it before walking out to my car and going back to my house.
When I arrived I noticed Herc's car was there along with Angelica's meaning they were here. I checked my watch 4:05. I walked in and spotted the four of them decorating the house with the decorations Angelica and Peggy had bought.
"Hey, guys."
They al turned round when I spoke, "Oh, hey (Y/n), sorry we just got started decorating as you weren't here."

We heard a knock on the door. I walked out and opened it to see Alex, Eliza and John. Alex and John came running in and Eliza stayed to talk to me, "(Y/n), sorry if we're slightly late. We literally had to drag him away from the turtles."
"It's fine Eliza, in fact your right on time, 5 on the dot." We walked in and saw everyone celebrating. John saw me and came running up, "(Y/n)! Thank you! Laf told me you planned all this."
"That I did, but I couldn't have done it if I didn't have help from the gang. But that reminds me, I need to go and get something." I ran upstairs and grabbed the turtle in it's box. I walked downstairs again and called everyone round to me, "John, I hope you like your gift," I spoke handing him the box, "open it."
He did and his face was beyond priceless, "You got me a turtle!?" I nodded.
"God I could kiss you right now," He immediately regretted it going bright red, "I'm sorry that came out wro-" I kissed him to shut him up, making his face going redder than it already was. I broke off, "It's ok John, I love you."
"I love you too."
I kissed him again, wrapping my arms round his neck.
