Modern!

JOHN'S POV
We had all gathered at the bar to celebrate Alexander getting married and let's just say we were all incredibly drunk.
"I may not live to see our glory!"
"I may not live to see our glory!"
"But I've seen wonders great and small."
"I've seen wonders great and small."
"Cuz if the tomcat can get married,"
"If Alexander can get married-"
"There's hope for our ass, after all!"
"Raise a glass to freedom!"
"Hey! Something you will never see again!"
"No matter what she tells you."
"Let's have another round tonight!"
We had all been drinking and were completely drunk by this point. Alexander then spotted someone he recognised and went up to him before starting a conversation. They came over to the table in the middle of their conversation.
"Congrats to you, Lieutenant Colonel. I wish I had your command instead of manning George's journal."
"No, you don't!"
"Yes, I do," Alexander spoke.
"Now, be sensible. From what I hear, you've made yourself indispensable."
"Well, well, I heard you've got a special someone on the side, Burr," I decided to step in.
"Is that so?" We heard from behind us, "Well, I don't think you can talk John. After all, you did get married before Alexander." I then felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see (Y/n). "Oh hi (Y/n)! Why are you here? I thought you were staying at home?"
"Well I was. But, you've been here for an hour longer than you said you'd be," she continued sitting down next to me and pecking me on the cheek. "(Y/n), do you want a drink or anything?" I asked her.
"Nope! I'm good. Someone's got to be sober to drive you lot home. Also I don't really feel like it at the moment," she replied before leaning her head on my shoulder and yawning. "Oh, (Y/n), I meant to ask you, is there a reason why you've been so tired lately?"
"Yes, there is and it's your fault for putting literally the devil inside me!"
I looked at her blankly confused about what she meant. I looked to the guys to see if they knew what (Y/n) meant. ""I have a feeling, you owe me Laf, remember that bet we made?"
"What bet?"
"You know, who would be the first one out of Alex and John to get kids?"
I looked at (Y/n) to see her with a slight smile on her face, "At least someone has a brain, even when drunk, well done Herc. You're right. Laf does owe you now," she said rubbing her stomach. My face went from confused to extremely happy, "I'm going to be a father!"
"Yes, John you are, in six months," (Y/n) said pecking me on the cheek again before standing up and dragging me away. "(Y/n), where are we going?"
"Home! I am going to make sure you don't have a terrible hangover in the morning!"
YOUR POV
Why are men so stupid to get drunk? And why do I have to deal with them! I dragged John home and put him to bed before getting changed and getting in myself. I was nearly asleep when I felt him wrap his arms round my waist and pull me into him. He then started kissing my neck and I rolled my eyes before turning round and pushed him down on the bed, climbing on top of him..
-----
Let's just say that it's a good thing that reproduction works the way it does otherwise we probably would have ended up with twins. Even though, we did anyway. We decided not to learn the gender of the baby and let it be a surprise....
----------------
"Mummy! Alex stole my bear and ripped the head off!" I heard from the living room. I walked in trying to keep calm, "Ok, Georgia. Let me see it." She handed me the bear and the head. "I'll go and fix it for you. There's also something in your room for you and your brother." She ran upstairs grabbing Alex on the way. I walked into our room and got out my sewing kit, sitting on the bed and getting to work repairing the stuffed bear.
John came in a few minutes later closing the door behind him, "Did you tell them?"
"What was I supposed to do? Tell them how they came to be and tell them that we did it again and creep out two ten-year-olds?"
"Not exactly. You know what I meant!"
"What I told them, well I left a not in their room saying, they were going to get a little sister." Just then the door burst open, "Mummy! Are we really getting a little sister?" Georgia asked me.
"Yes, you are," I answered.
"Why!? Why is it a girl!?"
"That can't be helped, Alex. You'll have to live with it."
