I had just finished rehearsals for a musical I was in when I felt arms around my waist, "You were great out there, love."
"Thanks, (Y/n). When did you get here?"
"I asked the director if I could watch rehearsals and he said yes," she replied with a nervous look in her eyes.
"(Y/n) tell me the truth."
"Fine, I told him that my boyfriend was the lead role and that I really wanted to watch before opening night... And maybe I bribed Alex to get the director to let me in."
"This is why I love you (Y/n)."
-------------------------------------Time Skip to Opening Night
Opening night. I was so nervous, not only was it opening night but (Y/n) was watching and it was one of her favourite musicals, (F/m).
I was finishing getting ready when the door to my dressing room opened, "Herc, you doing ok?" John.
"Doing just fine. Totally not stressing!"
"Herc is this about the show or 'Pumpkin'?"
"Both," I replied. 'Pumpkin' was the code name me and the boys came up with for what I was planning on saying to (Y/n) after the show, so she wouldn't overhear us.
John left the room and I finished getting ready.
YOUR POV
I was sitting in the audience with Philip on my lap. Eliza made me look after him and take him to the show as both her and Alexander were in it. I still don't understand why she asked me I'm sure Peggy or Angelica could have looked after him.
Anyway the show started and Philip went quiet after being a chatterbox to me before. Note to self: never give children ice cream or sweets before going to a show.

The show was amazing and Philip loved it. I was about the help Philip get his coat on and put mine on before leaving but someone came onto the stage, Alex, "I'm sorry to keep you all here but one of the cast has something to ask someone." That's when Herc came onto the stage and took the microphone from Alex, "Ok, I just want to say that I would not have been able to do this tonight is it weren't for my beautiful girlfriend. (Y/n), could you please join me on the stage." I stood up and placed Philip, in his chair before walking onto the stage and Herc carried on, "(Y/n), I love you so much and I know you don't like huge crowds but I have to do this," he said giving the mic back to Alex before getting down on one knee, "(Y/n), will you marry me?"
"Yes, Herc. I love you too." He stood up and placed the ring on my finger and pulling me into a kiss. We heard clapping as everyone filed out of their seats. I went back to get Philip before returning to the stage and handing him to Alex, "I believe he is yours Alex. And if you ever need me to look after Philip again, I would be honoured."
Herc then picked me up and brought be backstage and to his dressing room before starting to change. I looked away so he could have some privacy and he noticed this, "Come on, (Y/n) it's not like you haven't seen me naked before, this can't be so bad." He was right, when he was a month until opening night he was really stressed about it and I helped him remove that stress... and now here I am pregnant with Herc's child and I wouldn't change it for the world.
