I was at the bar alone. Why? Because my pain in the ass brother decided to leave me to go and join the revolution, along with my friends, John Lafayette, Herc and Alex. They had all gone off to fight leaving me and the Schuyler sisters alone. I was worried for all of them particularly my brother and John, I knew the 'Hamilsquad' as the called themselves, didn't have the best relationship with my brother and I had grown quite fond of John, meaning I had a crush on him now.
I decided something. I was going to go and join the revolution. I wrote a letter to the General asking if it would be ok and he replied saying they needed all the help they needed.

I arrived at the camp after a long carriage ride and I immediately went to Washington's tent, "Mr. Washington. You said to come and see you when I arrived?"
"Ah, yes. miss (Y/n). Now I will need to know your full name to register you."
I froze up. Only me and my brother knew we were related, "My full name, (Y/n)" I was cut off, "Mr Washington sir! There's someone who want's to speak to you!"
"Excuse me, miss (Y/n). I will be back in a few minutes," Washington said before leaving.

I had been working as a nurse for a while with only Washington knowing my real surname, to everyone else I was General (Y/n) (R/L/N). Until one day, John had decided to duel Ch-Lee. I was alerted by this when Laf came running up to me, "(Y/n)! John gonna duel Lee! And le Alexander is his second!"
I ran to where they were dueling, "5,6,7,8,9,10 paces fire!" John shot and Lee shot the sky. I immediately ran up Lee, "Ch-"
I was cut off, "What is going on here! Mr. Burr get a medic for the general!"
"Yes sir." He said before leading Lee to the medical tent.

A few minutes later I was standing by the nurse looking after him, "Will he be ok? Is he going to survive?"
"For the last time General, he'll be ok if you let me do my job!"
I immediately sunk back and walked outside only to hear shouting from Alex, "(Y/n), why were you in the medical tent? John didn't get injured!"
I was going to answer but I was cut off again, "General Lee! I need to speak to you!"
Oh god that's now blown my cover! Thanks Washington.
"Yes sir." I replied reluctantly following him before being turned round, "(Y/n), Lee's your brother!"
"Yes, now I have to go! And whatever you do, do not tell John," I got out of Alex's grip and ran off to Washington.

After talking to Washington about Charles I went back to the medical tent, "May I see him now?"
"Yes, General. He's doing fine and has wanted your company all morning, you two have quite a bond."
I walked over to Charles' cot and sat down beside it, "Hey Charles, how are you holding up?"
"I'm doing great now you're here." This made me smile, it's true we did have an amazing bond growing up.
"I love you Charles."
"Love you too, (Y/n)." I stood up and pecked him on the cheek before hearing the tent doors close and sobbing from outside, manly sobbing. I then heard footsteps running away. I walked outside and was immediately surrounded by Laf and Herc, "(Y/n), you never told us you were dating Lee!"
"Where'd you get that idea from!"
"Well John just told us he saw you kiss his cheek while he's in the medical tent and he heard you tell him that you love him."
"What! God no! Charles is by brother!"
They both looked to each other with a look of 'ohhhhh'. They turned back to me, "You may want to go and tell John that, he's been growing a crush on you, and he now thinks that you and Lee are in a relationship. He's quite upset, he now believes that he'll never get you love."
"Well, I'm going to go and tell him immediately, and I have something to say to him too." I walked off to where I saw John crying, "John, can I talk to you please?"
"Why?"
"Because I love you Goddamnit!" I realised I should not have blurted that out. He immediately stopped crying and stood up to look at me, "What about Lee?"
"Listen John, Charles is my brother. I didn't tell you because I knew how much you guys hated him and I thought that if you knew I was related to--" I was cut off by him kissing me.
"I love you (Y/n)."
"Love you too John. Wanna go tell the guys?" We heard whistling from behind us, "I think they already know, love."
"Damn right we do John! (Y/n), we could never hate you, even if we do hate your brother."
"Thanks guys."
