(You are already married btw)
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! George! George! Hey! I wanna talk to you!"
"What? I'm busy plotting against the 'Americans'."
"I was just wondering, I know this is probably a stupid request but, please just let them go. Please! You can see, we've already lost lots of men to this war and I just can't help that my friends or family might be next."
"Ok, fine. I will send a letter telling the troops to surrender. Only for you."
"Good. Because if this war ended some of my friends' lives then I would leave you right away and move back to America," I giggled, leaving him to write the letter.
I walked out the room and decided to take a nap. I walked into our bedroom and curled up on the bed soon falling asleep, my last thought being, I should probably tell George he's going to be a father...
---------------
I was woken by someone tapping my shoulder, "(Y/n), I just wanted to let you know that I sent the letter ordering the troops to surrender."
"Thank you Georgie. This is why I love you," I said waking up and pecking him on the cheek. He looked like he remembered something, "(Y/n), is it just me, or have you put on a lot of weight in the past six months."
"I have, Georgie. You're going to be a father. I'm not fat if that's what you were wondering."
His face went from one of nervousness to a massive grin, "I get to be a dad!?" I nodded.
"I get to be a dad!!" he repeated again.
"That's right George, now please calm down."
"Sorry I'm just excited. I can't wait to find out the gender! I want it to be a girl!"
"Why is that?"
"Dunno, really. Just want it to be a girl," he said casually, "then hopefully, she'll be a beautiful as you." I giggled, "Well, if it's a boy, I'm sure he'll be as handsome as you," I said booping him on the nose.
He scrunched his face up before kissing my cheek, "Love you."
"Love you too, Georgie."

A few weeks later I get a letter from my brother in America:
'Hey (Y/n)!
Guess what! The British surrendered! Yes! We won! Oh.... You're technically part of the British now.. Sorry, I'm just so happy! All our friends have survived the war and even better, Eliza is pregnant with Alex's first child! Anyway, I'm writing to say that we will all be coming to England to visit you! Yay.. Hopefully, the King won't be too upset that we came...
Yours, your dearest brother,
John Laurens, all the way in South Carolina.
Ps, Miss you. <3'
I giggled and decided to write back to him:
"Dearest John,
I am glad that all of our friends are alive including you. Tell Alex I'm happy for him. I have a surprise for you when you get here. I take no offence to you kicking the British butts in the war BTW, (I was the one that convinced George to get the troops to surrender.)
Yours your dearest sister,
(Y/n).
Ps, miss you too <3'
I sent the letter off, hoping that it would arrive before the squad left for England. I decided to take a walk round the palace grounds. I put my shoes on walking into George's 'study' pecking him on the cheek and telling him I was going for a walk before walking out the palace greeting the guards on my way.
