The Lost Alpha Princess

Chapter 46

Hunters POV

As we walk into the dining room all the chatter that was coming from everyone instantly stops and all eyes fall on my Little Mate, I feel her tense and squeeze the hand I am holding to reassure her that it's ok. I look at everyone of my pack and link them all together "Stop staring you're making her uncomfortable." all their eyes snap to me with a confused look until they notice me holding her hand. Some of them smile softly now realising who she is others have frowns of confusion, I growl at them and they all snap out of their trance and turn back to the table yet no one talks again.

I tug Hope towards the Luna chair and pull it out for her, which she tentatively sits in looking nervously around the table. As I sat down "So Alpha who do we have here?" one of the elders questions with a slight smirk "I am here." my mate grumbles in response before I have a chance to, the elders eyes dart to Hope in shock. She glances at me then back at Hope "Why you disrespect...." before she can finish I let out a warning growl with a dark look in my eyes directed at her. It's not really her fault she doesn't know who Hope is, but when she finds out she will regret it.

My head warriors Mate tries to relieve some of the tension "Hi I'm Sky, what's your name?" she says looking at Hope who still has her head down. She slowly lifts her head to look at Sky and when her hair falls from her face there are some gasp around the table. I can still see some confused looks, but all of the elders know who she is instantly and I see the one that was about to chastise Hope gulp at the realisation of her almost mistake. She looks at me with wide eyes before looking down at her plate, Hopes family have yet to speak but they are looking at Hope with gentle smiles on their faces knowing not to tell anyone who she really is.

Hope gives Sky a small smile "Hope." she say's softly looking back down, a server comes to Hopes side making her jump slightly "What can I get for you dear?" she asks Hope softly, wide eyed Hope looks at her "I, I..." she trails off not really sure what to do "She will have one of everything." I quickly answer for her then quickly add "With a couple of different juices." Hope gives me a thankful look "Of course and the normal for yourself Alpha?" the server says, I give her a nod and she walks away as I thank her. I know Hope doesn't know what she likes so I want her to try a bit of everything.

The table remains quiet and I rub circles with my thumb on the back of Hopes hand "So Hope which Pack are you from?" Sky questions trying to break the silence. Hope lifts her head again "None." was her only response which earned a few gasp before Holt cut in "She is part of Snowpeak, but she has lost her memories so doesn't remember." he quickly explains which has all my packs eyes widening again some only now realising who she is and some at the fact she has no memories of her life. Sky looks between Hope and Holt a few times with suspicious eyes before they widen and she gasps "Yo, you're the Alpha Princess aren't you?" she questions with a shocked tone, before slapping a hand over her mouth.

Everyone of my pack members now gasps while Hopes family are looking nervously around, Hope is still looking down while my pack is looking at me with shocked looks. Kane walks in with summer, both giggling and still no one looks away from me "Wow what's happening in here?" he questions heading towards his chair with Summer in toe. I look him square in the eye and say "Sky asked Hope if she is the Alpha Princess." all eyes were suddenly on him as he visibly gulped "Tell them the truth." I hear a small voice in my head and turn to Hope. I give her a questioning look before linking back "Are you sure?" she nods while linking "At least then I don't have to hide Selene." so I take a breath ready to tell everyone the truth.

I look around the table as the server puts mine and Hopes food in front of us, I look up at her and request "Please can you and everyone else leave us for a while I will link you all when we have finished." with a curt nod and a funny look towards Hope she left followed by the others. I didn't miss the look and will have to speak with everyone later, before the rumour's start. Everyone around the table from my pack are looking between me and Hope with shocked expressions, and Hopes family are still yet to say anything.

I take another deep breath "Ok everyone I know you will have questions but let me fill you in on a few things that have happened, firstly yes Sky this is the lost Alpha Princess Hope." I was interrupted by a lot of murmuring "SILENCE." I growl at them all and they instantly stopped talking showing their necks. I take another breath "I know you will all have questions and we will answer them all soon but for now, I will tell you the short version and hopefully that will answer some of the most important ones." I explain letting that sink in before continuing.

I take a quick glance at a very tense Hope before looking at everyone again "Hope was kidnapped by Gregory...." I was interrupted again by a chorus of gasps, I growled lowly and continued again "She was held his prisoner for many years and unfortunately she has amnesia, for years he taught her how to fight and educated her. He made her read about werewolves but lead her to believe we are fantasy and therefore she thought she was a human." I take a breath to let that sink in.

"Kane secretly went in search of her and luckily he found her. They escaped and came here meeting Edward the head warrior of Snowpeak pack, who was also searching for her. When she arrived we agreed to keep her true identity a secret for her safety, not because we do not trust you. She is in fact my Mate and will be treated as such, if any disrespect or harm happens to her there will be dire consequences am I understood?" I finish.

Everyone is silence for a moment digesting the information they have just been given "Well?" I question everyone harshly. Still no one answers but the elder that was going to have a go at Hope stands up and steps away from her chair and kneels behind Hope's chair "Welcome Alpha Princess, I'm so glad that you are here." as soon as she finishes the rest of my pack get up and follow the elders actions. Hope spins around in her chair to face them with a shocked look now on her face, it is the first time she has looked at any of them other then Sky since she sat down.

Her cheeks flame "Please sit back down, I am just Hope and you do not have to bend at the knee to me. I am not comfortable with it, so please everyone take you seats." she finishes with an embarrassed sigh before turning back and finally trying some food. As everyone is returning to their seats someone says "Beautiful and humble, incredible." this comment has a feral growl coming from me and Holt, everyone freezes when the second in command warrior holds his hands up "No disrespect meant Alpha's, I also have a mate I was just complimenting the Alpha Princess and my Luna." he was quick to explain and we both settled down again.

Someone cleared their throat after a few minutes of silence "Um when are you going to explain to the pack, the servers will surely have started talking so they will need to know." my head warrior asks. I sigh "As soon as I am done banishing Roxy." again there were gasps and murmurs before anyone could question me "She disrespected and attempted to strike your Luna several times in the last hour and also myself and Beta Blake have agreed and she will be leaving as soon as we are finished here." I state so there is no room for arguments.
