Chapter 52

Hope's POV

I let out a huff "Well if me and Selene become one then our power will be strong enough to put a force field around the house, stopping anyone from entering if they are not this pack or my family." I finish looking around the room. Everyone is looking at me like I'm crazy "What exactly do you mean you and Selene become one Luna? I don't get it." Blake questions confused "I mean we can control my body together at once, working in perfect synchronicity." I say in a duh tone.

Everyone was quiet again "Is that even possible?" Blaire said out loud to no one in particular, I quickly closed my eyes and felt Selene come forward and stand next to me. Then I opened my eyes to see no one was looking at me, so I cleared my throat. All eyes landed on mine and everyone covered their mouth with their hands in shock "Yo, your eye's... What the hell Hope?" Summer stutters "Guess again." I say only it comes out as two voices. I see everyone going through different emotions "Damn that is fucking creepy sis." Holt chuckles out "Yeah but fucking awesome." Kane finishes.

I look to Hunter to see his reaction and to say I was shocked was and understatement, he rushed to me "I am officially the luckiest wolf in the world, I mean look at you." he growls in my ear making me and Selene shiver. I look into his eyes "I am going to mark and mate you as soon as Gregory is dead, along with his filthy rouges." I link him privately. His cheeks turn pink under his five o'clock shadow, I don't think I've ever seen him blush "Ok I need to go this takes a lot of energy from us." Selene says. It appears we can speak together or separately as that was just her voice, I closed my eyes and she steps back.

When I open my eyes everyone was gaping at me "What?" I question them innocently "Don't act like just anyone can do that." Kane scoffed "WHAT, really?" I questioned "I honestly thought it was something we could all do Selene never told me otherwise." I explain honestly. We get back to our plans and once we all agree, which took us late into the night. We even had dinner in the room so we could carry on, we leave to prepare for tomorrow I will be using a lot of power tomorrow which will be draining.

I was already using a lot tonight knowing Gregory was watching the pack house, I was using my power to make this room appear empty and make the rest of the house look busy. I knew he was watching from the second he stepped over our tree line, only Hunter, myself and one warrior on patrol knew he was there. By the time we got to bed I was exhausted, luckily Gregory left when he thought we had all gone to bed earlier so I could sleep easy tonight.

Gregory's POV

The pack house seemed busy tonight everyone enjoying themselves from the sound of it, I was watching their room waiting for them. When the light went on and I saw her shadow cross the balcony doors I almost howled in joy, Gage nearly got control it really was getting harder to fight him that's why we are attacking the day after tomorrow. I need her back badly, I continue to watch her room and see her shadow a few more times. Her light turns off and I know she has gone to sleep and my last thought before I returned to my camp is 'Soon my sweet little mate, soon.'.

Hunter's POV

I watch my Little Mate sleep knowing when I wake her she is going to be using an immense amount of power today to help protect our pack, I won't lie I am worried I don't really want her fighting but I know she will. What worries me right now is if she will have enough energy to do both, I know I shouldn't doubt her and I don't but I'm also an Alpha. That makes me possessive and over protective, I can't help it that's the way Alpha's are made.

I feel Hope stir and I really didn't want to let her go so I gently snuggle her further into me, unfortunately that was the wrong move because instead she started trying to wiggle away from me and she opened her eyes. She glared at me "You squished my bladder now I need to use the bathroom, quickly." she rushes out. I let her go with a chuckle as she runs and slams the bathroom door, I can't help but laugh and just shake my head.

Hope's POV

I was having the best dream when I felt a sudden pressure on my bladder, as I tried to get up I was held tightly by a pair of huge arms. When he let me go I couldn't run quick enough, and I nearly didn't make it as I sat down I could hear his laughter "Stupid Alpha." I mutter under my breath "Fucking sexy Alpha though." Selene decided to add, I just rolled my eyes in response. As the weeks have gone on Hunter and I have been getting closer and there have been a few times when things have heated up a lot, we have been interrupted every time though much to Selene's annoyance.

We have been spending as much time together as we can and training together is always a tension fuelled experience, neither willing to submit but both wanting to at the same time. The bond is strange in the way it makes me feel complete when we are together, I was starting to pick up Hunter's emotions and feelings and a lot of the time when I can feel his anger Selene urges me to find him. I have heard whispers from the staff that Hunter is changing for the better, and the atmosphere around the whole pack not just the pack house was lighter than it has ever been.
