Hope's POV

"No one blames you for anything Little Mate." Hunter says with conviction and complete honesty and I know he is being honest, he looks at me "So ready to speak with your mother and brother?" he asks with raised brows. I give a small nod still not sure about this, I don't know what they want or expect from me. He takes the plate off my lap and place's it on his and then puts both on the bedside table, he then places an arm around my waist and pulls me to him "They will be here in a minute, Blake is bringing them." he says as we settle with me resting my head on his chest.

I know I should feel weird being this close to someone but for some reason he makes me feel peaceful and safe, I can feel and hear Selene purring at being so close to her mate. I feel Hunter take a deep breath "I never expected you to be this comfortable with me so quickly, thank you for giving me a chance." he whispers softly, I sigh "I don't understand it myself and that scares me a little." I admit honestly "Me too little Princess." he say's with a sigh.

A knock at the door has my body tensing "Relax little mate, it is your mother and brother." he whispers in my ear causing my body to relax but only slightly. He gets up and opens the door and the man I had attacked and the sobbing woman entered along with another man, they give me a small hesitant smile which I return. They both stand at the end of the bed and the other man leaves closing the door behind him, I'm not going to lie I feel a bit trapped not to mention out numbered.

I try to take some calming breathers "Calm down sweet girl I promise you they mean you no harm, they simply want to love you. Please trust me." Selene begs. I take another breath and close my eyes "I'm trying." I tell her honestly "Hi." the guy says getting my attention, although he doesn't keep it for long because my eyes can't stop from looking between him and the woman. They looked a little alike, Hunter grabbed the arm chairs and placed them around the bed so the man and woman could sit down then he sat back on the bed taking my hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.

The woman sits on my left and the man at the end "Hi Hope I'm Amelia, yo, um your mother." she stumbles over the words but finishes with a small smile. Which I find myself returning "And I'm Holt, your twin brother." says the man proudly gaining my attention. I study them both and look down at my hands "I, I, I'm sorry bu, but I don't kn, know you." I say sadly, Amelia grabs my free hand and gives it a tight squeeze "That's ok sweetheart." she say's softly.

I look up to find her looking at me with soft eyes "We're so happy you found your way home to us." Holt say's with sadness in his tone but I still can't look at them. I didn't know what to say to them so we all just sit there in silence, that is until "I can't stand this Hope what happened to you while you were away?" Holt rushed out in one breath, causing me to tense up and Hunter to growl. Amelia gasped "HOLT!" "I'm sorry I just can't bare the silence and it was the first thing that came into my head, sorry." he finishes with a sigh.

I couldn't help the giggle that came from my mouth because like me, when his nervous he blurts out the first thing that comes into his head. All eyes snap to me and before I know it Holt is laughing with me, Hunter and Amelia are looking between the two of us like we have lost it. We both manage to control our laughter, the atmosphere becomes tense again "Do you really want to know?" I question in a whisper looking at my hands again.

Holt gave a curt nod while Amelia began to sob softly again "Only if you want to sweetheart." she says softly I look at her "Where is your mate, if you are my mother I assume he is my father?" I question her, she looks nervously at Holt then Hunter who both look down. Her eyes meet mine "Yes he is, but things are difficult at the moment." she explains "Well difficult or not I will not be repeating this, so if there is anyone that needs to know then they should be here as well." I say a bit too harshly.
