Chapter 70

Hope's POV

Once I get a few extra copies for everyone I had "Future pack members estimated time of arrival seven weeks." at the bottom of the picture. Hunter explained that one week of pregnancy for a wolf was actually four weeks for a human, because of our advance healing we have short pregnancy's.

He wasn't joking when he said short, nine weeks to be exact. We needed to tell our family and friends quick because I could have a bump just appear, as early as tomorrow. The doctor explained this and it's even less predictable because I'm having twins, and as the doctor so kindly informed us 'Twins normally come even earlier.' yeah thanks for that information doc.

We are going to tell our family and friends tonight, and the rest of the pack in a few days. We have decided to postpone the Luna/mating ceremony until after the babies are born, I don't want to be the size of a beach ball at it. I learned about pregnancy's while in the cell, although I only learnt about human pregnancy's.

Gregory was obviously keeping that one as another surprise I guess, I shudder at the thought of Gregory. Hunter wraps his arms around me from behind putting his hands on my stomach "Hey the doc said no stress, everything is set. You have nothing to worry about, everyone's coming." he says softly kissing my mark, misreading my shudder. I'm glad he did I don't want to worry him, but I push that thought to the back of my mind at least for tonight.

I look over my shoulder at Hunter with a smile on my lips which he pecks with his own, I giggle "Come on lets head to the dining room our guest will be here soon. Once everyone is sat down we have dinner served, while we are all eating the trouble makers Holt and Kane both ask at the same time "So why the fancy dinner?" they then smirk at each other.

Hunter and I have a smirk of our own when we look up "Little mate, you do the honours." Hunter says looking at me, I take out the envelopes "Please take one and pass it along so everyone has one, don't open it until I ask you to." I tell them as they start passing envelopes around until everyone has one.

Sitting there waiting for me to continue are my mum, dad, brother, Blaire, Kane, Summer, Blake and of course Edward who has become a second father to me and Hunter. I look at them all "We have had a request for two new wolves to join the pack, and we wanted your advise before we agree. Their information is in the envelope, have a look and tell us what you think." I say gesturing for them to look in the envelope. Hunter and I sit and glance at each other every so often waiting for some one to say something, there is silence and confusion as everyone continues to look at the contents of the envelopes.

Mum looks at the scan then at me and I can see the question in her eyes, I give her a nod and see tears build up in her eyes. Holt looks up "I don't get it." he says with a huff when suddenly Blaire jumps out of her seat knocking the table and nearly wiping out everything on it.

"OH. MY. GODDESS. ARE YOU?" she doesn't need to finish her questions as I give her a nod with the tears now falling. She jump's up and down "OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE." she screams, my brother looks at her "What the h**l are yo...." he trails off realising what Blaire is screaming about.

He jumps from his own seat and points a finger between me and Hunter "Are you?" he questions and again before he could finish I nod at him "I'M GOING TO BE A FUCKING UNCLE, ME!" he exclaims excitedly. Everyone starts jumping around excited except my father, I look at him and his crying "Dad I'm sor..." I'm cut off as he fly's at me and grabs me in his arms "Don't you dare apologise, I'm going to be a grandfather." he beams squeezing me tighter. I cough a little "Umm dad you're kind of crushing the twins." I say and his arms instantly drop.

Everyone has suddenly stopped dead in their tracks, I look at Hunter confused and he is smirking "They didn't realise it was twins." he links me laughing, I burst out laughing at all the shocked expressions. When the shock wears off everyone started to celebrate again, once we had all calmed down we started to discuss the plans for the twins. While we were talking my mind wondered off back to it's worried state, the feeling was definitely getting stronger.

Hunter wrapped his arms around me "I think I should get Hope to bed, she's had a shocking day finding out about the babies and planning this surprise. Please excuse us, we will see you all in the morning." he told everyone before lifting me in his arms and carrying me to our bed. I get undressed and ready for bed, but as I'm brushing my teeth I can't seem to shake this feeling anymore. I'm now fighting with myself and Selene, as to whether I should tell Hunter now or when I know more.

I've had this feeling since we were leaving to move the new pack members, and I have been trying to ignore it but I don't think I can anymore. Even Selene feels something but we're both still not sure what it is, I have a feeling it is something to do with Gregory. I know he is dead but still I have this feeling, when I found out about the twins this morning I thought it was them. But since finding out about the twins the feeling has only gotten worse, something dark is coming and whatever it is I can't help but think it's because of Gregory.
