The Lost Alpha Princess

Chapter 81

Hunter's POV‎

I was looking away from the scene playing out in front of me until I heard a collective gasp and finally looked up to see that Blaze had shifted and was breathing fire towards Hope, but Hope froze it with a smirk on her face. He then tried to take her out with his tail but a flick from one of her hands and it was swiping away from her, again her smirk remained. He tried catching her off guard breathing more fire at her, this time she blew it back at him and it singed the tip of his nose. I noticed while he was distracted, Hope took a deep breath then roared at him "YOU WILL SUBMIT NOW!" again there was a collective gasp, and I could see that Blaze was having a hard time not bending at the knee to her which had me smirking. ‎

Hope's POV‎

I could see Blaze trying to fight my command his dragon was ready to submit but his human wasn't, he shifted back before his dragon could lower his head in submission to me. He was glaring at me clearly having an intrenal battle with himself, I walk up to him never breaking eye contact. I look directly into his eyes "I said. You. Will. Submit. To. Me. Now!" I growl at him through clenched teeth, he glares at me one last time before falling to his knees and lowering his head to the ground. The crowd were shocked into silence as Leonardo walked over to us, putting his hand on Blaze's shoulder "Hope has gotten Blaze to submit, does anyone else want to challenge her next?" he called to the crowd. ‎

Chase stepped forward "I do, we don't have Alpha's so that won't work on me." he said with a smirk "Are you calling me weak Bear?" Blaze growled out "Not at all friend, you know I have respect for you. I just meant as we do not have Alpha's, we have no true leader so an Alpha command couldn't possibly work on me." he finished with a chuckle. Chase is still smirking at me, I can't help but roll my eyes at him. I step up to Blaze "You may stand." I say softly, he stands and extends his hand to me "Impressive tactics, my Queen." he finishes with a proud smirk. He pulls me closer and whispers "Now finish the bear." I look at Chase then back at Blaze's eyes with my own smirk "With pleasure" I say walking towards Chase.

Leonardo announces the start of our challenge, I decide to have a little fun with 'Mr we don't have Alpha's.' Chase like me stayed in human form and we started circling, when an idea hit me causing me to get a sinister smirk on my face making Chase re-think this whole thing. I took his sight from him and then projected an empty field to him, he started looking around a little frantically "Where did everyone go?" he said to himself making me chuckle. He spun in the direction of my chuckle but still couldn't see me, I was already behind him when I snuck up on him "Boo!" I whispered in his ear, causing him to jump in the air spinning around shifting his hand to a paw and swiping it at me.

Luckily I saw this coming and was already well clear of his paw, he swung again but in the wrong direction. No one from the crowd had made a sound as they were all to busy staring with wide open mouths, I was silently crying with laughter now this was fun. Chase shifted into his bear fully and I decided to give him his sight back just as he landed on his four paws, he looked around and even in bear form you could see the confusion written on his face as he saw everyone again. ‎

He looks at me and lets out a growl, so I growl right back only mine is more of a roar as Selene steps forward. I look at Chase with my different coloured eyes and he really looks worried as he begins to back up, I don't give him the chance to get far as I call the roots up from the ground and wrap them around him. I hold him in place as I look at the rest of the Council with a challenging expression in my eyes, Chase is clawing at the roots but for everyone he manages to brea,k three more wrap around him. My eyes land on Samantha and I see she is not happy, when I smirk at her she almost growls at me but as I raise an eyebrow at her she looks at the ground knowing better. ‎

Chase is still fighting against the roots and when my eyes land on Stephan both Selene and I want to shiver, not in a good way but we manage to fight the urge and turn away from him. The look in his eyes is making me think this challenge was a mistake, I have no doubt now that I can never trust or underestimate him. I turn to Hunter and smile softly as he smirks at me "Make sure someone is always on Stephan we don't trust him." Selene and I both link Hunter and Heath at the same time. Hunter's expression doesn't change but I know he agrees "We will make them invisible to him." we both link him again before turning back to Chase. ‎

I pushed the roots back into the ground releasing him, he stood up shaking out his fur giving me a deadly glare. I glared back "You wanted to try and humiliate me, first mistake underestimating me." I linked him causing him to stumble backwards in confusion. Everyone starts mummering to each other "How?" Chase links back clearly confused "I can link anyone and everyone, I can open the link so they can talk to and hear you as well." I link back smirking again "You really are incredible." he links again before lowering his front legs and head in voluntary submission. Everyone around us gasps again as Leonardo runs to us, and again I am declared the winner and no one else seems to want to challenge me. ‎

Selene retreats just as Hunter reaches me and kneels before me taking my hand and placing a gentle kiss on the palm, he stands up and holds the same hand he kissed in the air "Hail Queen Hope!" he calls out and before the Council or I could react all of our pack were on bended knee "All hail Queen Hope!" they all repeat. The Council members looked at our pack with shock and surprise written all over their face's, the only one that didn't look shocked was my father. In fact he had the proudest look on his face as he too got on bended knee followed by Holt, and joined in with the chanting. ‎

I raised my hand starting to get embarrassed "Please rise, I believe we have a wonderful dinner to attend in the gardens." I say before adding "Let's go and get cleaned up dinner will be served in an hour." I then start to walk back to the pack house with Hunter "You really should of said an hour and a half." he growled seductively through our link. Now I was shivering but it was the good kind, the kind you want. Not the creepy kind, that no body wants. I can't think about s*x at the moment though I'm too wound up about Stephan, I have a feeling he was trying to compel me during both challenges thankfully Selene sensed it and put a stop to it instantly. ‎
