The Lost Alpha Princess

Chapter 98

Hope's POV

When we break through to the Southern boarder it is fucking mayhem, I look around to see bodies everywhere. But unlike with Gregory we have lost some people, there will be time to heal them after this is over. I see we have the upper hand, but I also see the damage caused to our new Kingdom and I can't help but be upset.

I catch sight of Hunter and notice a Vampire about to launch out of a tree on his back, I send a fire ball at him causing him to fall from the tree and land on the floor in front of Hunter. Through this whole thing I have kept the projection link open with Stephan, he has witnessed everything and I think now he is starting to understand the depth of my powers.

Once I have helped finish his pathetic Army I will pay him and Samantha a little visit, the fighting calms down enough for me to re-concentrate on getting to Yasmin "Hunter I'm going to Yasmin, Kane, Holt you're with me, I'll link you when I have her." I link Hunter before linking my four most trusted Guards, they join Kane, Holt and I as we head off to the magical holding cell.

When we get there and head inside Samantha is still tied up tight mumbling behind her gag, I ignore her "Take her to the hybrid cell, Kane go with them." I order, I then walk over to wrap Yasmin in a bone crushing hug "I promised I would come, didn't I?" I question softly to her nodding whilst wrapping her own tiny arms around my neck burying her head into my chest.

Once I dropped Yasmin off with her parents I close the projection with Stephan, it had been a long arse day and night and him and Samantha can fucking wait until tomorrow now. Everyone was still here from the Coronation, and thank the Goddess really because although we have plenty in our Royal Guard and Army. They still weren't fully trained, that's not to say they did anything but their best. They fought hard but we still lost a few due to some being inexperienced, this is why I need to meet with the Alpha's.

They held some of their warriors training back knowing they would be incredible once properly trained, but because of their Alpha's fears and selfishness young lives were lost unnecessarily it's a good thing I can heal. When punishing Stephan and Samantha I will make sure everyone in power will be here to see what happens when they doubt their Queen, I was chosen to do a job and I will do that the correct way all the Super Natural's will just have to give me a chance.

I go into the Ball room again as that is where everyone went after the fighting stopped, as soon as I had Yasmin and people saw me with her they started to retreat. The rouges were the first to run, and as soon as the witches and wizards realised the rouges were gone they run as well. I went to the stage to address everyone "We have captured both traitors, and they will be dealt with tomorrow. I want all the leaders of every species here in the morning, they will all witness what happens to traitors." I order everyone.

I then turn to my Father "Alpha Arrow I want every single Alpha in this country here by tomorrow morning, I know of at least eight that were helping with the traitors. They will witness what happens when you go against the Queen, I will decide what to do with the eight I know of after I have dealt with the other traitors." I tell my dad firmly, to which he gives a curt nod before linking all the Alpha's to get here.

I turn back to the crowd "I want to thank all of you for staying and helping, there will be accommodation provided for you all. Please see our Beta couple and they will let you know where you will stay, for those of you that were already staying feel free to head to your rooms or please feel free to wonder around get some food just try and unwind and relax." I finish softly before walking off the stage.

Hunter was stood at the steps waiting for me "You did amazing up there Little Mate, now lets get you into bed it's been a long day and I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be just as long." he say's wrapping an arm around my waist and leading me to our new room.

Hunter helps me out of my dress and I put one of his shirts on as I walk through our connecting door and check on the twins, Summer put them to bed while I was dealing with the crowd. I kiss them both and head back to Hunter and I's room, I decide to leave the connecting door open and climb into bed.

Hunter gets in behind me and pulls me to his chest, I snuggle into him and sleep takes me quickly today really has been long. Tomorrow is going to be hard and although I fell asleep quickly, I also woke up quickly. I ended up tossing and turning most of the night and only got a few hours of actual sleep, I was up and ready before Hunter even woke so I left him a note and left.

I went to Stephan's cell I needed to know why he did it before I give him his punishment, was it really just power that he wanted. With Gregory sure I can see that but with Stephan, I don't know I feel like power isn't the only reason. I relieve the Guard on duty and head in turning off the ultra violet lights, there is a square within the cell that is not touched be the light.

One foot outside that cell would burn any vampire in seconds, Stephan stood when the lights changed to normal and eyed me as I walked up to him. He smirked at me "Queen Hope you look ravishing as always, and your show yesterday very impressive. I am however wondering why I am still here, I thought I would of been made an example of last night?" he questions with a cocky tone

I cock my head to the side "Why?" I simply ask, for a second he looks taken aback by the question "What do you mean 'why'?" he asks confused. I regard him a second "It can't all of been about power." I state with a shrug. He chuckles "So smart but still so innocent, no it wasn't all about power but it was all about you." he says pointing a finger at me "But why?" I ask again.

He chuckles again "You tell me why I'm not gone yet, and I'll tell you the real reason why." he says raising his brows at me in challenge. Does he really think I care if he knows why he is still alive, I chuckle "You will be made an example of but I need for everyone to understand traitors will have no mercy, I needed to give everyone time to get here but don't worry you and Samantha will be dealt with this afternoon." I finish looking at my nails bored.

He regards me for a few moments, shaking his head "You really are something, this was only ever about you. We should of been mates I felt a pull towards you since you were a baby, I looked for you the whole time and then when I saw you that first time in the garden again after so long I knew. It was always meant to be you, after so long my heart nearly started beating again." the whole time he was talking my eyes grew wider and wider as realisation dawned on me, he thinks his in love with me.

He stopped talking when he noticed that I finally understood "Why would you think controlling me will help you?" I question wanting to understand what he thought taking Yasmin would achieve. He thinks for a second "Honestly I thought if I could keep you with me under my control, eventually you would fall in love with me on your own once your mark disappeared of course." he explains.

I've heard enough of this and need to get back to my mate and children "Is there anything you need before your judgement this afternoon?" I ask him softly "Always so gracious but no thank you, unless it is freedom?" he questions with a chuckle "Afraid not, I will take my leave I want to spend some time with my children" I say walking out, not giving him a chance to respond to that snippet of information. With everything that went on last night we didn't get a chance to announce the twins, I haven't spoken to Hunter yet but I want to give them their own Ceremony.

I walk into the dining room just as Hunter walks down the stairs with our beautiful children, as we take our seats Hunter looks down at me "Where were you?" he questions "I went to see Stephan, did you not see my note?" I reply softly. I feel him tense "No, Why?" he questions through his teeth. I let out a sigh "I will explain after the trial, I promise." I say to which he gives me a curt nod. I make a point of not greeting our new arrivals to show my displeasure in some of them, as I requested every leader from every species is here. All the Alpha's of the different species that have Alpha's are here as well, they will all learn that to cross me is to cause your worst fears to become your reality.
