Chapter 50

Gregory's POV

We have been camped a few miles outside of Mountain Ridge boarders for a couple weeks or so now and my rouges have been trying to find the area it takes the warriors the longest to get to, I know this is where the attack will end but so far they haven't had much luck "Alpha it is taking them no more than five minutes to get to any place we breach." one of my warriors reports. I know they have strong patrols there I trained with most of them, so I know how fast and strong they are.

I regard him for a second "Keep doing what you are doing until you have something new to report got it?" I told him in a clearly pissed off tone, he gives a curt nod before scurrying away. I'm getting bored of waiting but I can't do anything until Jade returns my message, I'm starting to think she is dead as I haven't had a reply from her in months. If I don't get Hope back soon then Gage is going to get control and that will be bad for everyone especially my Little Mate.

Hope's POV

It's been a few days since Blaire came home and it's been crazy, don't get me wrong she is incredible and we get on really well her energy is contagious. The boys are all in a meeting about Gregory, they think I don't know. What they don't know is a few days ago I was training my powers and I somehow managed to enter Hunters mind, I watched everything through his eyes that's how I found out about the rouges trying out our reaction times. I know I shouldn't have but I was sick of them all keeping stuff from me, I'm involved more than any of them but they are keeping me in the fucking dark.

So every so often I listen in on their meetings, I don't do it all the time just some of the time. I'm currently sat in the garden watching the meeting, I'm distracted and didn't notice Blaire and Summer sneaking up on me. I squeal when I feel a hand on my shoulder "Really Hope, what if that was a real attack. I guess we know what you're working on next, learning how to be aware or your surroundings whilst using this power." Selene moans through our link, I only roll my eyes in response and turn with a glare to the girls.

They both giggle nervously "Sorry we really didn't mean to scare you." Blaire says sheepishly, before eyeing me with suspicion "Hang on what had you so distracted you didn't notice us coming?" she questions crossing her arms over her chest, while Summer put hers on her hips nodding in agreement to Blaire's questions "Yeah you always know when someone is coming." she said suspiciously. I gulp nervously not realising I had been caught "Umm, Uhh. No, nothing I wasn't doing anything." I say with a poor attempt to get up and walk away.

They both step in front of me "Nope, not buying it." Summer says now with her arms crossed over her chest, where as Blaire has hers now on her hips. Blaire has a mischievous smirk of her face "Come on spill." she says with raised brows. I sigh knowing I won't get away without telling them "Ok fine I may or may not have a power that allows me to see through others eyes." I look down before finishing sheepishly "And I may or may not have been using said power to watch the meeting going on through Hunters eyes." the girls eye me then burst out laughing.

Once they had control over their laughter "Please tell me you can do this whenever you want?" Blaire questions "Do you think you can project it into others minds?" Summer asks. I look at them both "Yes and I have never tried." their grins grow. They both squeal and drag me back to the ground "Lets try now go to Hunter's mind then project it to us." Blaire encouraged. Taking a deep breath I went back into Hunter's mind and imagined myself putting the view into the girls mind.

Blaire gasped and Summer squealed "Shit it worked." they both say at the same time "Shhh." is all I reply I need to concentrate to not lose the connection, just then Hunter gets a mind link and me and the girls hear it all "Alpha two rouges have breached the boarder but they are just standing there, I think they are checking on our reaction times." a tracker says "Ok keep watch I will send some warriors to chase them off in twenty minutes, as soon as they run you and the scout follow them link me when you get to their camp and for Goddess sake be careful." Hunter says cutting the link, that's when an idea hit me and I closed the connection much to the girls protests but we need to speak with Hunter now.

Hunter's POV

We are in the meeting and I can't shake the feeling we are being watched, I know it's not possible for this room to be bugged so it's not that. I have technology in here that if the room was ever bugged the bug would just let out a high frequency noise due to the interference, even Heath feels something is definitely not right it's weird.

As I am getting lost in my own thoughts a mind link comes through "Alpha two rouges have breached the boarder but they are just standing there, I think they are checking on our reaction times." one of my trackers says "Ok keep watch I will send some warriors to chase them off in twenty minutes, as soon as they run you and the scout follow them link me when you get to their camp and for goddess sake be careful." I cut off the link.

I look around the room "It would appear we have a breach, looks like they are timing our reactions. The warriors will chase them off and the tracker and scout will follow the rouges, he will link us when they are there." I finish explaining "Shame we can't see exactly what the tracker and scout do that would be more helpful." Blake said absentmindedly "Yeah." I agreed as the door slammed open "Maybe I can help with that." Hope said as she walked in with Blaire and Summer. The two girls went to sit in their mates laps who had confused looks on their faces as Hope came up to me "What do you mean Little Mate?" I ask her confused by her statement.

She looks at the ground and is that guilt I see in her eyes, I get the feeling I'm not going to like this. She took a few deep breaths "Well I may or may not have discovered a new power...." she was cut off by a scoff "Cut the b******t Hope and spit it out, it didn't work on us it won't work on them... Well maybe Hunter." Blaire finishes with another scoff. Hope gives her a death glare before turning back to me, when she sees my arms crossed over my chest and my brows raised she gulps.

When I don't change my expression Hope rolls her eyes and scoffs herself "Fine, I have a power where I'm able to see things through other peoples eyes as they are seeing it. And I can project it into other peoples minds as I'm seeing it." she finishes with a small smirk. Then it hit me the feeling of being watched "Have you been doing it to me when I'm in meetings?" I question with a serious expression. Hope looks at her feet like they are the most interesting thing on the planet "Not all the time." she whispers.

I huffed "I'm sorry what was that?" I question her sarcastically, she looks into my eyes and huffs again "Not all the time." she says with more confidence this time. Everyone in the room is trying to hold in their laughter and despite the invasion of privacy, I wasn't mad at her because I was going to tell her everything anyway. Just not yet and that was only to keep her safe, everyone including me burst into laughter as Hope looked at us all confused. She huffed again still confused "I'm not mad Little One, you are fucking amazing you really are." I say as I pull her into my chest.

We were all calming down when another link came through "Alpha we are at the camp and the rouges have just given their report, it looks like he is calling a meeting." my tracker links "Ok listen I don't have time to explain but we are going to be able to watch what you are watching, so don't worry about linking me. When the meeting is over both of you head back and we will follow you, I will explain properly when you get back just trust me ok?" I link him back "Of course Alpha." he links before cutting our connection. I look at Hope "You're up Little Mate." I say, she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. Suddenly one by one everyone slowly closes their eyes mine being the last, as soon as they were shut a vision invades my mind and I realise I'm seeing what my tracker is seeing.
