Chapter 49

Hunter's POV

Blaire looks between me and her brother and we both just smirk at her, she slowly brings her hands to her open mouth in shock. Suddenly anger crosses her face and she slaps me on the chest and head "Hey oww!" I say rubbing both spots "When did you get so strong?" I question her mockingly. She went to slap me again but I dodged just in time and Blake received it instead "Hey what was that for?" he whined holding his cheek where Blaire had slapped him. She glared at him "You knew he met her and you didn't say anything, every time I said 'Hey bro what's new?' you could of started with umm I don't know maybe 'Oh yeah sis Hunter found his mate' hmm." she finishes with a raised brow and her hands on her hips.

We both looked at her sheepishly before she burst into a fit of laughter, we were soon joining her and all of us were holding our stomachs "Goddess I missed you two buffoons." Blaire said when she calmed down enough. When Blake calmed down he said "Hunter didn't find her any way Kane did." he said with a smirk in my direction. Blaire eyed us both "I think you have a lot to fill me in on." she said as she started to walk away "Come on Alpha's office." she called over her shoulder.

Once we are in my office we explain everything that's happened in the last couple of months from Kane leaving right up to today, Blaire is sitting there with a look of horror mixed with shock "WOW I um I uhh, I really just have no words, everything aside she sounds like one h**l of a Mate." she finishes with a smirk directed at me. I roll my eyes "Everything we just told you and that's all you have to say?" I finish with a huff "Well obviously not, I just don't know what else to say right now." she replied before getting up.

She walks to the door with me and Blake looking at her with confusion "I need time to take all that information in, but most importantly I need a shower that was a long trip." she says with a shrug before walking out leaving us staring at the door in bewilderment. I shake my head "Your sister is something else." I say "Yeah but I think she will love our Luna." Blake replies with a soft smile on his face.

Hope's POV

They have been arguing since the staff cleared our plates and that was nearly three hours ago, I haven't been able to get a word in so for the last hour I have just sat here silently with my arms crossed over my chest huffing every so often. Selene retreated into the back of my mind ages ago as well and by now I had, had enough. I looked between them all "That's it Selene I can't take anymore." I growl at her through our link "Finally." she sighs. I slam my hand on the table and stand up "THAT IS ENOUGH." I growl at them all, and they all shut up instantly.

I look between their shocked faces "Now listen to me and listen to me good, Amelia if the Moon Goddess hadn't told Arrow would that have changed anything?" I question her, she looks down knowing it wouldn't have "Would anything of changed if Arrow had told you about what was going to happen?" I ask looking at each of them "What would you have done knowing it wouldn't have changed a thing?" I finish my questions.

They all look down but suddenly they all start talking at once again "That's enough all of you, I can see that dad was trying to protect you mum and you brother. He didn't want you to feel even more hopeless knowing there was nothing you could of done, it would of been a bigger burden than not knowing." I finish softly. They are all looking at me with funny expressions and after a few minutes "What?" I question looking between the three of them.

Amelia has tears streaming down her face suddenly, Arrow has the biggest smile I have ever seen him have on his face, and Holt is smirking at me like he knows something I don't. I look at them all really confused at the sudden change "Oh Hope you just called us mum, dad and brother!" Amelia said while sobbing. Arrow jumped from his chair and grabbed Amelia in a tight embrace which she didn't fight, I thought back to what I just said and realised she was right I did. All of a sudden six arms wrap me in a suffocating hug, and I don't feel uncomfortable like I normally do. I actually feel like I belong here, and that's a feeling I don't want to change.

After the shock had worn off we all agreed that the past can not be changed and the only way to move forward, is to move forward so that's what we were going to do. I was starving and decided I was going to see if I could get some food as we have just missed lunch, we are heading towards the dining room and everyone was laughing and enjoying each others company. Holt had his arm on my shoulders and I was tickling his side when we heard a loud growl from the stairs and all looked up.

There was a she wolf standing there with her fists clenched "Get your sluty hands off my Mate NOW!" she screamed as she ran at me, the problem with that is she doesn't know me or what I am capable of. I leap over her and kick her in the back, knocking her to the floor before she even realised I was behind her. I heard a growl come from Holt as he moved towards us and I thought he was coming to help me so I held him back with my powers "Hope leave her alone." he growled at me.

I looked at my brother in shock because she attacked me, the distraction was enough for her to kick me in the stomach. I hissed but stood firm as I round house kicked her in the head knocking her down again, this time before she could get up I jumped on her back and pinned her to the ground.

I looked up at a fuming Holt "WHAT IS WITH YOU SHE WENT FOR ME I WAS DEFENDING MYSELF!" I growled out still pinning her struggling form "SHE IS MY MATE!" he roared back probably gaining the attention of the whole pack house. Before I could respond I heard footsteps running our way, we all looked in the direction they were coming.

Hunter ran round the corner closely followed by Blake "Hope, what?" Hunter asks in shock, Blake growls at me earning a growl back in warning. Selene is not happy about any of this and she is trying to take control, I am struggling to keep control and if one more person gives me an accusing look she will win. I realised as soon as Hunter said my name the she wolf stopped trying to fight me, I took a breath and looked down at her "I'm so sorry Hope I didn't know who you were, I just saw my mate and...." she was interrupted by Hunter and Blake shouting "MATE!" at the same time.

I slowly released her and climbed off of her and before anything else could happen I was pulled behind a fuming Arrow and Amelia "Try and attack my daughter again young lady and you will regret it." Arrow growls in a low voice causing Blake to growl at him in return. Amelia growls at Blake and it carried on like this for a few seconds until I lost it and not only release a growl of my own but my full Alpha aura, to which everyone but Hunter fell to their knees.

Hunter looked at everyone and then me, he gave me an apologetic look knowing he read the situation wrong. I don't like that he blamed me so quickly but I guess we still hardly know each other "Someone better explain what the hell we just ran into, NOW!" Hunter finished with a growl of his own.

The she wolf cleared her throat "It really was my fault Alpha and I can not apologise enough Luna, I walked down the stairs and saw my Mate with his arm around her shoulders and her hands were all over him. I didn't know what to think so I just reacted, I had no idea she was your Mate please accept my apologies." she pleaded with me.

Some one cleared their throat and we all turned to see Holt still stuck in place by my powers, with a chuckle I release him "Sorry." I say through our link. He chuckles "Forgiven just don't attack my mate again." he linked back with a smirk "Hey she...." I started to respond "I know, I know she started it. Don't worry I will have a chat with her." he links with a sigh

He then walks up to the she wolf "Holt." he says looking into her eyes "Blaire." she says in a breathy tone. Hunter clears his throat "Everyone this is Blaire Beta Blakes sister, Blaire this is Alpha Snowpeak and his family." he says raising a brow. She looks at us nervously "Hunter stop scaring the poor girl she will soon be my daughter, I am Amelia Holts mother. This is my mate Arrow and our daughter and Holts twin Hope." Mum says with a soft smile grabbing her into a tight hug.
