Chapter 66

Hope's POV

Now that the meeting was over Hunter and I went to get some breakfast, as we walked in my eyes landed on a fuming Holt. I gulped something Hunter didn't miss, he chuckled while tapping my bum to push me towards my very pissed twin. When I was stood in front of him he glared down at me "WELL?" he growled at me. I looked down "Well what?" I question in a whisper, Holt grabs my chin forcing my head to look up at him. Hunter growls and Holt just keeps glaring at me "Don't try the meek shy Little Princess with me Missy, why the hell did I feel almost all of your energy fade. Only to get a blast of it, a few minutes later?" he growled lowly at me.

I rolled my eyes and snatched my chin out of his grasp "Firstly, I didn't know you would feel that sorry." I start and I do mean it as well. I look at him sternly now though "Secondly, Gregory had killed most of the forest out there and I could feel every tree that burnt. I did what I needed to do for both the forest it's self, and my pack." I say with sheer conviction.

His eyes soften slight as he mumbles something under his breath "Just don't do it again." he then says loud enough for me to hear before turning away and taking his seat next to Blaire, who is smirking at me knowing I will so do it again if I need to.

After a calm but busy breakfast Blaire and Summer come and grab me and we head off to the spa, leaving Hunter to work. We agreed to have an early dinner tonight, then Hunter was going to get another couple of hours of work done. That worked out perfectly, as it means I can make the room nice for him.

After hours of being massaged, waxed and painted we were done just in time to change for dinner. I head down and meet with Hunter, who places a soft kiss on my temple as I sit next to him for dinner. Once we're done eating Hunter excuses himself and heads off to his office to finish his work, Blaire and Summer both look at me "Hey as Hunter's working want to have a movie night?" Blaire asks excitedly.

I look at her "Oh umm no, that's ok I'm going to umm get an early night." I stumble over my words while blushing. Blaire shares a look with Summer and they both look me up and down before a smirk appears on both their faces, I can't met their eyes and look at my hands as if they were the most interesting thing in the world.

I can feel them both still staring and now everyone else is starting to notice and are now beginning to look at me confused, I blush even harder "What's going on? What's up with Hope?" Holt questions giving us three girls a confused look "Why is she blushing like that?" Kane questions them as well.

I hear the girls giggle "Oh no reason, she is going to go get an early night isn't that right Hope?" Blaire says in a sickly sweet voice while Summer giggles harder and the boys look more confused. At that point I can't take any more and I jump out of my seat so quick the chair falls over.

Everyone now stops what they were doing, and look at me. Blaire and Summer were now roaring with laughter and I glared at them both, before picking up my chair and putting it back in place. I look around embarrassed "Sor, sorry excuse me I'm off to bed." I say quickly turning around and running out of the doors.

As I leaving I can hear Blaire and Summer still roaring with laughter only now I can hear Holt and Kane both asking "What's going on? Why are you laughing? What's wrong with Hope? Why did she run out of here like her a**s is on fire?" that's the last I hear as I round the corner and run up to my room as fast as I can. When I get there I slam the door shut and lean against it trying to catch my ragged breath, once I do I start thinking about what I need for tonight.

After a couple of hours getting everything ready and changing into a, sheer black lacey baby doll, and matching thong I send a projection to Hunter. When I'm sure he is looking through my eyes I slowly turn around the room so he can see the candles, petals and everything else I have set up. I finish my turn at the mirror so he is looking at me looking at myself waiting for him, I blow him a kiss and send him a wink before cutting off the projection. It wasn't even two minutes after I cut the projection the door was being slammed open, so hard it nearly came off the hinges.
