Chapter 73

Hunter's POV

When I got to the nursery she was already gone, but the baby was still here I was confused. I could sense some kind of magic but I didn't know what, because I wasn't Hope. Kane ran through the nursery door "What happened, I heard you roar." he said out of breath. I look at him and he takes one look at my face and it's like he knows, he rushes to his son and picks him up "What happened?" he asks me with a frown "I can't sense Summer here." he adds. I look at him sadly "Hope linked me telling me to get here, she said something about getting them back and she promised to come home." I told him.

Kane looked at me "She will get them back?" Kane repeats, I nod at him and a piece of paper catches my eye. I pick it up and and what I read make's my heart stop, Kane notices and takes the paper reading it himself. He growls loudly "Ohh she is so dead." he says in a deadly tone. I look around the room for anymore clues, after ten minutes I still haven't found anything useful.

I was about to give up when I felt a rush of wind, it was so strong I had to cover my eyes with my arms. When the wind dies down and I uncover my eyes, I sigh in relief seeing Blaire and Summer looking around shocked but looking unharmed. My heart drops again when I don't see Hope, and I can't help the sinking feeling that is starting to bloom in my chest.

Summer ran to Kane and embraced him and their son, Blaire looked at me with a sad expression "Where is she?" I question in a whisper. Blaire looks down with sad eyes "I don't know, I'm sorry." the roar of pain I let out was heard and felt across my entire territory, and the howls of pain back from my pack let me know they both felt and heard it. I feel a hand on my shoulder "We will get her back brother, come lets meet in the office with everyone and the girls can tell us what they know." Kane says softly. I nod and leave the nursery with the others following, by the time we get to my office everyone is there and they all look as worried and concerned as I am.

Blaire's POV

Once everyone is settled in the office I start explaining what happened "I got a link from Summer asking me to go to the nursery, I could sense something was wrong so I ran straight there. When I walked in Summer was unconscious and Roxy was holding the baby, she blew something in my face and as I was passing out she put the baby back. She must of transported us straight away, because when I woke up we were in a cave. We were bound with silver cuffs and there was some cage behind us, our cuffs unlocked on there own and seconds later Hope walked in with Roxy and that witch Jade." I was cut off by a number of growls at the mention of both names.

When the growling stopped I continued "Hope indicated she unlocked the cuffs and she managed to get Roxy and Jade to stand with their backs to us, Summer jumped Roxy and slit her throat and I took Jade. As soon as I the blade entered her neck she used her powers to throw Hope into the cage shutting the door and locking it, Hope tried to use her powers but nothing happened like she was being blocked. As I was about to search Jade for a key she threw something at me and Summer and we ended up back in the nursery." I finish as Holt wraps me in a warm hug.

Hunter runs his had through his hair "Are you sure Roxy and Jade are both dead?" he asks "There is no way they survived, Summer nearly took Roxy's head clean off." I start "Well the bitch touched my son." Summer said looking down at her son adoringly. I look back at Hunter "And I hit Jades main artery with silver, there's no way she could of healed in time to stop the bleeding. It's just once she was stabbed everything happened in a matter of seconds." I explain "Well at least they are both dead, we just need to figure out where she is." Hunter announced and that's when it hit me, I looked at Hunter with horror in my eyes before saying "Umm Hunter, if they are both dead Hope can't get out until we locate her.".

Hunter's POV

It's been weeks and we still can't trace her, whatever this cage is she is in is cloaking her beyond anyone's ability. Not even the witches can sense her or the magic being used, the ironic thing is if Hope was here she would be able to sense it regardless. I don't think I have slept for weeks and if I have it's been a few minutes, with my head on my desk. Everyone has been searching but they have found nothing, with the transportation spell she could be anywhere. With no scent to follow it is nearly impossible to find her, we are about to have another meeting to see if there is anything else that Blaire or Summer remember.

I'm sitting with Kane, Summer, Holt, Blaire, Blake and Hope's parents, we have been discussing things and Summer seemed a bit distracted through the whole meeting. Suddenly she gasp "Rouge's!" she says causing us all to look at her confused "The cave it stunk of rouge, but it was faint like they hadn't been there for a while." she explained.

"Yeah she's right, there was also stuff all over the place as if it had been abandoned weeks ago." Blaire adds in a rush. Summer gasps again "There was a teddy bear with the name Yasmin on it, I remember because I just stared at it thinking of KJ to keep my breathing level and calm." Summer says, that's right they have decided to call their son KJ because of Hope.

Me and Blake look at each other "It can't be!" we both say in shock, as me and Blake were the only ones in the room to go to Gregory's camp the others don't know where it is. They also wouldn't know about Hope's encounter with the little girl, who I'm sure was called Yasmin finally Blake and I look at everyone with hope in our eyes for the first time in weeks.

We didn't wait to explain we both just jumped up and run out of the office, we knew exactly where we were going. Everyone followed us to the garden and to the sad little girl, who has sat amongst the flowers praying that her Luna/Queen is safely retuned. But mostly for the twin pups she has sworn to protect, we all slow down as we approach her not wanting to scare her.

As we approached she turned and we could see see the tear stains down her cheeks, I gave her a soft smile and sat down beside her. The others stayed back a little but were close enough to hear what we were saying, she gives me a sad smile "Any news yet Alpha?" she asks me.

I promised her when Hope went missing she would be the first to know if I found her, I sigh "Sorry sweetie not yet, but you may be able to help us." I explain to her. She perks up and nods "Anything." she says with a sad smile. Her and Hope have gotten close since Hope healed the forest, she clearly love's Hope "Can you tell me did you have a bear that had your name on it back at the camp, before you came here?" I ask her softly.

She nods without hesitation "Yes it was pink and the writing was blue, I left it there as the bad man gave it to me." she explained. I looked back at Summer who was nodding confirming Yasmin's description was what she remembered, I looked back at Yasmin "Thank you Yasmin, you may have just save the Luna and our pups life's." I say jumping up and running back to my office to get everything ready.
