Last time...

The occupants stared in silence, Hunter was gripping his knuckles. Wrecker had his arms around both Tech and Echo. Omega looked on confused as occupants around the room stared at the young girl.

"......."

A loud beeping alerted everyone to the centre of the table as a base of theirs was being attacked and need of help.

Present...

With years of practice and skill, the bad batch were quick to follow Rex and his group towards the explosions. Multi-tasking was easier said than done unless you were Tech, who while

running for danger was searching for what they were likely to face. Omega was at the back of the group with Wrecker and Gregor. Coming out of the tunnel, there were mix's of emotion spreading throughout the group.

Rex smiled he didn’t know what to expect but the shields surrounding the mountain were protecting them all, his faltered when he saw an enemy gunship descend through the atmosphere. A young clone came running up towards Rex, “Captain, I’m sorry but our west side defences have been broken through. Commander Wolffe has signalled for backup, the enemy is aiming for our water and fuel supply building”. Rex nodded, the young clone was quick to scramble off in the direction he had come from.

Sighing Rex turned to the eager group behind him, sharing a look with Gregor who headed in the direction of the Havok Marauder. Picking up on the memo, Hunter directed his group towards their ship, Rex following behind after picking up his helmet and bag on the side.

Rex entered the Havok Marauder cockpit, Hunter slipped in with him. Echo and Tech pilot the ship to the coordinates given by Rex. Gregor, Omega and Wrecker were in the main body of the ship awaiting orders. Omega double-checked stock while Wrecker updated his explosives. Gregor leaned against the interior walls with his knuckles tightly gripping his rifle in his hands. Without the helmet, the others couldn’t see his face and he was quite thankful for it. Omega’s thoughts were still rattled over the recent information she had read herself, sharing a look with Wrecker who squeezed her shoulder in reassurance.

It took mere minutes as Tech manoeuvred the ship a bit away from the battle at hand behind a mountain, hidden from view by the trees. Hunter turned to the squad, nodding to Rex, allowing him to take over command. “Right men and Omega. We have a difficult task in front of us. The facility just out of reach of us is our water and fuel supply. So if a blaster fire hit the wrong place, it would mean…” “Kaboom!” “Yes Wrecker, kaboom. We need to do everything in our power to stop that from happening. But if that so happens we can simply relocate. We do not know how the enemy has followed us to this planet as nothing came up on the radar when you guys arrived so we know it was not you. We will figure that out later but for now on. We will travel in groups, Echo. I need you here on the ship to pilot us away in an emergency. Omega it will be best if you stay with him. Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Gregor and I will head into the facility and extract Commander Wolffe and try and secure the facility. If all fails we will just leave. Understood!”. The others nodded at Rex's speech, Omega tried to protest but a stern look from Hunter had her back down.

Before they left, Hunter turned to Echo. “If anything happens to us, promise me brother than you will leave with Omega and keep her safe!”. Placing their foreheads together, Echo nodded. The two unaware Omega had heard them from her spot inside the ship. Echo walked up the stairs to frown at the sight of his sister who was sitting against the wall with her knees tucked up and her hand on Crosshair’s old case. He turned towards the cockpit, listening to the comms as he thought to mention this to Hunter later on. Slowly closing the door to the Havok Marauder, Echo watched over the monitors. However, Echo was unaware of what Omega had planned.
