Omega was angry, no she wasn’t she was furious. She had single-handedly watched her brothers turn on one brother because of some miscommunication. Omega’s youngest brother had a lot going on in his life and he certainly didn’t need whatever the others had on him. Omega heard the shots way before she realised they were being attacked. Her feet were moving quicker towards the sounds, she turned a corner and screamed. A hand quickly silenced her by covering her mouth, she fought the person out of instinct and elbowed the individual. Who groaned in response but held her still. Omega looked up to see Crosshair staring back at her with his fingers to his lips, he also had a very familiar weapon in his back. Omega smiled at his 773 Firepuncher Rifle.

The next action surprised her, Crosshair handed his beloved weapon to her. Making her grab it in surprise, she didn’t expect what would happen next. Commander Wolffe appeared next to Crosshair, nodding at him, he reached for Omega’s hand and gently pulled her into a vent shaft. Opening a vent in the shaft, Omega saw Ashton and Honey and blinked in surprise, she looked back the way they had come to see Wolffe shaking his head at her. She huffed out loud but soon found her mouth covered again, she soon found the reason for their silence.

They were in a vent above the huge hangar, and she noticed the bad batch and other clones hidden behind some crates at the back of the hangar. On the other side stood about 100 stormtroopers and some elite troopers. The elite troopers seemed to meet in the circle where none other than Crosshair stood, guns trained on him in all directions.

“Where are they?!”. The elite guard commando commanded Crosshair who smiled back evilly, “Who?”. Crosshairs face snapped left from the impact of the gun hitting the side of his face. The guard then grabbed his chin forcing him to look up at the helmet of the trooper, Crosshair did the only thing he could in the moment. He spat at the trooper, and it landed right on the screen of the helmet. Crosshair smirked to himself, proud of himself. The tense atmosphere seemed to increase when the elite guard stepped forward more into his space. Crosshair grounded his teeth, impressed by the squad in front of him, he had personally trained. Two of the members grabbed his arms forcing him into a kneeling position in front of them all while their leader grabbed Crosshair by the chin forcing him to look up yet again. A hand struck his chest, his ribs making a cracking noise yet again. Crosshair bit his tongue to avoid showing any pain when the fists continued to slam against his chest; he had to do this so the others could escape.

Omega watched from above at the violent beatings her brother was receiving from his former squad, the tears she felt falling down her cheeks were wiped away by two small hands. Omega looked down to see Ashton and Honey smiling back at her despite the pains on their faces, Wolffe looked down at the twins in confusion before he picked them up, to start his descent down the vents to meet up with Howzer. Omega clung to his back while he climbed down. The four of them reached the bottom only to halt in their place, when a stormtrooper looked in their direction. Wolffe put the children down before walking behind the trooper and tackling them to the floor. He wrestled with the trooper but stopped when he realised his mistake.

“Wolffe! Stop, it's me!”. Wolffe recognised that voice, it was Echo’s. Quickly getting off the trooper, Wolffe offered a hand to him which he gladly accepted. Wolffe looked at Echo in confusion and offered his hand to shake, Echo knew Wolffe’s handshake was a type of an apology since the former commander hardly spoke. Wolffe walked back towards the crates but stopped at the looks of pure fear in the children’s eyes, quickly turning around Wolffe found himself face-to-face with none other than Darth Maul who smiled at him. Thankfully for Wolffe, a group of stormtroopers came into the room and started shooting in Maul’s direction. For once in his life Wolffe found himself aided by a former enemy in protecting the children. Echo and Wolffe had one thing on their minds: why was Maul here?
