ES-02 dropped dead to the ground. Rex rushed back out to see Hunter staring at the trooper in shock, just behind her was Crosshair. Having made it to his feet, he shot Hunter’s spare pistol straight through ES-02’s chest and watched her body crumble to the ground. Crosshair stumbled again, striding past the dead body of ES-02 and moving further towards Hunter. Who caught him on the steps, his body falling forward into Hunter’s chest armour.

Wrecker quickly shut the door, helping Hunter move Crosshair onto Hunter’s bunk. Crosshair sat with his back against the wall, Ash having climbed straight into his lap despite protests of both Hunter and Tech. Crosshair curled his body away from Tech, who frowned at the behaviour. Leaving a medkit for Hunter to help Crosshair. Who refused to take off any of his armour. “What’s the next step Rex?” Gregor asked the former Captain. “Yeah, it’s not like we can take a stroll in the park. Thanks to Crosshair we are now on the Empire's wanted list” Havok jokes, but in turn earns him the look of a near silent Howzer. “Well Crosshair will definitely need some medical treatment, he has a few broken ribs from the stunt he pulled earlier and probably many more injuries. That he certainly isn’t sharing. Rex, do you know of a place where we can get the help and supplies”. Rex looked on thoughtfully, bringing his hand to rest against his chin.

“Kamino?”. A nearby whisper broke the thoughts of many of the occupants inside the Havok Marauder. “Cross, you were there. You know what Kamino has become” Hunter looked in concern at his lover, who shook his head. “No. Kamino has..a few secret labs under…water.. One where I left something… I must..get…” he broke into coughing as blood spurted from his lips. Hunter lifted Ash straight off Crosshair, who stumbled into the refresher; he gently passed Ash to an unexpected Wrecker before following Crosshair. Rex signalled to Gregor to pass the information to their pilots to proceed towards the destination.

“Thorn?” “Yes, Tech”, “How are you alive?”. Thorn smiled at the looks from everyone, the range from curious to horrific, that Tech had asked the question they all wondered. “It’s just you were reported to be KIA before Order 66 even began. You were killed by droids and confirmed dead”. Thorn chuckled again before turning to the others, still with his helmet on. “I woke up in a bacta tank, to be honest. I thought I was dead but someone stood over me. Having revived me, in a way not known to me. There were a few bacta tanks, holding soldiers. No I didn’t get their faces before you ask. I fell unconscious again and then next thing I knew. I woke up in a cell with Captain Howzer. We hit a few complications before escaping together. We went separate ways looking for Wolffe. Then I ran into you guys. That’s the short version”. Tech looked on, typing away. “He records everything, do not worry”. Thorn nodded, turning to Gregor, “Yes Havok. You have a question”. “Yeah, where's the hammer and why go looking for Wolffe?”.

Howzer silently turned to the said clone resting against his shoulder. Instantly noticing the way Wolffe’s chest rose and his relaxed posture to see that Wolffe was asleep. “The Hammer I lost. But I work fine with pistols for the time being. I will find it or a similar one. Well, if you used your eyes and looked for a change. The answers would be right in front of you”. Havok frowned at his fellow clones' words but turned to where Wolffe was and saw it. He grinned turning to Rex, “You owe me 3 credits”. Rex grumbled passing the money over. “When did it start?” Havok asked Howzer loudly only to be shushed by Gregor. “When did it start?” Havok whispered. “A year before Order 66” Thorn whispered to shut Havok up, noticing Howzer not paying attention on his way to the cockpit, joining Gregor.

Wrecker made himself comfortable in Omega’s room with the two children. Telling them both a bedtime story. Ash sat in silence while Omega smiled, joining in on the actions for the near silent child. Smiling at his nephew who struggled to keep his eyes open while eagerly listening to his Uncle. “Ash, can you say Uncle Wrecker?” Wrecker coaxed the child who had not spoken a single word since they had met him. Ash pouted before yawning looking towards the door his parents had disappeared into. “How about Omega?” Omega coaxed getting Ash’s attention again.

Meanwhile in the cockpit…

Tech and Echo covered their tracks as they made their way through space to the place they wished to never visit again. But this was for their brother. Kamino had been a place of torture to the bad batch and it created a reminder that couldn’t be wiped from their memories. Tech shuddered at the thought of the so-called ‘experiments’. Echo felt a familiar hand rest on his shoulder, looking up he saw Rex looking down at the two.

Coming out of hyperspace, the Havok Marauder hovered in space looking over at the abandoned planet called Kamino in front of them all. “Rex is this a good idea?” Gregor questioned. Echo felt the hand tighten on his shoulder, but he kept his eyes forward. “No I don’t think so. I don’t have a reason, but we have to trust Crosshair”. “Trust Crosshair, as in mind-controlled Empire…”. Havok didn’t finish as the cockpit door opened to reveal Omega and Ash with Wrecker behind them.

“Where do we land? Echo there is nothing here anymore” Tech directed his question, but received a shrug in response. The two started arguing with one another over facts, Wrecker chipping in to provoke the two while making a bet with both Gregor and Havok. “Ahem” shuffling behind them, made their attention turn.
