All heads snapped west. Kix nodded at them to go but Jesse couldn't so instead Dogma went in his place. They all found themselves running to where their hidden runway was. The Havok Marauder was coming in hot, it managed to land slightly, then tumbled to a halt. Surprisingly it was in one piece, a figure stumbled out of the ship covered in blood. The helmet was whipped off revealing the missing arc trooper.
"ECHO!"
Rex's shout snapped Echo's head in his direction. Echo ran more hobbled for the small group, "Sorry, about the landing but we have a situation. Where's Fives and Crosshair?" Echo asked accepting Rex's shoulder to lean on. The captain smiled at him.
"Fives is in an isolated medical bay. Long story short, he caught a virus which is contagious. Cody and Kix are isolated with him and no one has seen Crosshair since you all left" Hardcase explained, watching as Echo's face twisted.
"I'm gathering you know?" Echo asked, he received multiple heads nodding. He went to speak when something interrupted him.
"Know what?!" The demanding tone turned all attention to the missing marksman who stood in full bad batch armour. Crosshair wore a dark scowl on his face.
"Cross…"
"Where are they?" Crosshair demanded in a tone not many knew he had.
"You need to see this video" Rex interrupted their soon to be argument as he brought up the video clip from earlier. Crosshair moved to stand beside Echo and watched with an impassive expression. For the whole four minutes, Crosshair didn't move one inch and it was starting to worry the others. Rex cut the feed off once it was finished. Crosshair tightened his hands into fists.
"So what's the plan?" Echo asked in hope for some help from the others. Rex turned to look at him with shame. "Wait, we are going to get them, aren't we?" Echo said with a distinctive tone and a raised eyebrow.
Crosshair remained silent beside him while the others weren't very subtle about their glances. It was clear to the two batch members that the others weren't going to help.
"Come on Echo. I have a plan. Let's leave these assholes alone" Crosshair snarled out walking over to the Havok Marauder and grabbing a small crate. Echo followed without a word, sometimes Echo still questioned whether his opinions were taken into credit. All this time after everything the bad batch had done for the rebel cause, Rex and the others wouldn't jump the gun to help.
A ship landed beside the Havok Marauder belonging to none other than Jango Fett. Out stepped the said bounty hunter with Alpha, Bly and Ponds. The three commanders looked furious. Rex wondered what Cody's batchmates were doing here since they were meant to be at another rebel base looking after it.
All of them watched as Bly stalked over to Crosshair and Echo. From a far something got said and the next thing they all knew Bly had Crosshair up against the ships side. Crosshair struggled to fight back and control himself. Echo shoved Bly away from the marksman who shook his head for control. Rex and the others instantly ran over to find out what was going on. Crosshair sent out a signal to Howzer to protect the kids, he received a confirmation ping back explaining they were with Cut and Suu.
Bly turned to tell Rex and the others the news.
"He's WHAT!" Mace Windu roared out looking directly at the marksman who took a step back while Echo moved his own body in the way to protect his baby brother.
Rex looked furious, "All this time you have remained hidden amongst us when you could have been a voice to many out there struggling every day!" He glared at the marksman.
