"Obi-wan it has been too long" Cad Bane stepped out from the shadows of his ship. The bad batch watched in horror as Cad Bane stepped on their marksman's back to get a reaction, when he found none. He smiled, "it seems your friend is dead", his smile widened when he saw the looks of anger on their faces.
"Stand down now!" Obi-wan ordered, coming to stand in front of the mourning group. Cad Bane stood opposite him with a smile, "Hand over Deadshot otherwise you can join your friend" Cad Bane grunted out.
"Over my dead body!" Tech said
"That can be arranged" Cad Bane's response made Echo pull Tech back to him. "Ooo quite protective aren't you" he teased. Cody looked back to see the anger in Echo's eyes, it was the look of a lost brother.
"I wouldn't call it protective, I would call it family" a voice broke through their conversation. All heads turned to see the marksman making his way back to his feet. Cad Bane wore a look of confusion. "How are you still alive?" Cad Bane asked, "Like I said I'm Deadshots ghost" Crosshair said pulling his helmet from his head revealing blood flowing down the side of it.
"You know where Deadshot is, don't you"
"I do what's it to you?" Crosshair said replacing his helmet and readying his knife.
"Tell me where he is and I will spare all your lives" Cad Bane ordered.
"And if I don't?"
"Don't test me youngling!" Fives looked at Echo, 'youngling?'. The two wondered just how old the batch was.
"Or what?" Crosshair said, crossing his arms and looking bored. He was aware of his back being turned against possible targets but he had that covered.
"This!" Cad Bane shot at the same time a knife found itself embedded in his chest. Cad Bane gasped as blood flowed out of his mouth.
"Leave now" Crosshair snarled. Cad Bane only nodded, putting a severe amount of pressure on his chest. Crosshair groaned, feeling very dizzy all of a sudden. Two ships landed behind him and began shooting at nearby bounty hunters.
Rex gasped when he saw who emerged from one. Thorn, Gregor and Doom while the others were occupied.
"Kote! It's been awhile" the voice of none other than Jango Fett rang out in front of them all. He had been reported, KIA for years and standing beside him was Alpha, Ponds and Bly.
Cody smirked seeing his batchmates emerge from the bounty hunter ship. All that was missing was Fox. He knew the commander was deeply undercover in the Empire.
In the presence of Jango Fett, the clones watched as the survivors ran back to their ships and left into the atmosphere only to come face to face with a Venator-Class Star Destroyer waiting in their path. Cad Bane struggled to his feet but soon found himself helped by none other than the marksman himself. Crosshair smirked looking at the one who had been a friend turned enemy over time.
Cad Bane slapped his hand off him, "until we meet again, ghost. You can't protect him forever" he said while climbing into his ship and taking off into the skies above. Crosshair grumbled to himself using his beskar spear to lean against. He was well aware he had broken his stitches and opened old wounds but at this moment he didn't really care.
He watched as old friends and family reconnected. He smiled watching the way his own family interacted with the older ones. The way Cid introduced herself and the kids found new friends with many faces. Crosshair smirked to himself, "Am I done?" He asked mainly to the two shimmering figures on either side of him while another kneeled down in front of him.
