Last time...

The three had just exited the vents onto a rooftop hidden by the building's pipes when a shout across the comm came, “WOLFFE!” before a building to their right exploded in flames. The three turned to see the fuel exchange building was engulfed in flames. The voice over the comms belonged to Rex. Hunter saw this as an opportunity to leave but he didn’t feel great about leaving another brother behind but a signal from Thorn who was across from them told them they had to go as he dragged Rex with him.

Present...

A few minutes beforehand….

Gregor and Havok had just finished on their end setting up all their explosives. Waved to Omega claiming they were ready. Wrecker held a signal as the four looked at each other. Omega went to push the button when the fuel building exploded. Wrecker grabbed Omega and sprinted back towards the mountain they had come from, looking behind he noticed his fellow brothers following them. Running as quick as they could, as explosions happened all over like a ripple effect. The walls around the facility exploded leaving exits everywhere, those free ran for freedom. The four reached a perfect distance hoping their team was alright; they had all just reached their ship. Omega was piloting as Echo had taught her. Heading towards the facility when they all heard the dread of a scream over their radios, “WOLFFE!”. Gregor dropped his gun in shock as Rex’s scream came over their radios/comms. Wrecker sat in the turret as Omega manoeuvred the ship to where Tech had sent a signal. Within minutes the door was sliding open to reveal Echo, Tech and Rex. “Hunter said to meet us behind the fuel building” Echo claimed as he and Tech took over piloting the ship. Omega moved into the main body with the others.

Omega looked out the door to see both Thorn and Hunter sprinting for the ship. Thorn stopped to shoot the stormtroopers and slave traders firing upon them. Taking a shot to the chest, Thorn carried on, before following Hunter up towards the Havok Marauder. Hunter safely jumped aboard but while Thorn was running he was shot in the back. He slipped to his knees as he turned to shoot, only to gasp as a grenade courtesy of Wrecker landed next to him. Shaking his head he ran quicker as Hunter jumped out to help him up to the ship. Gregor reached down, pulling Thorn into the ship. Echo steadied the ship but he had to move as a missile was aiming for them. Pulling the ship out of range, Hunter dived to the side waiting on his team as he took cover behind a rock formation.

Two enemy gunships descended on the Havok Marauder, “Hunter, we will be back. Do not die on us!” Tech commanded as he, Echo and Wrecker took down the enemy ships. Leaving Hunter alone on the ground with two pistols, his vibro knife against hundreds of storm troopers. Hunter didn’t know whether he liked those odds or not. However, after about 20 minutes. Hunter found his luck slipping as he found himself with no ammo left. Struggling to cover himself, he looked towards the distance for his brothers, shaking his head when he didn’t see them. They would come, they had too.

“Stand down Men. Now if CT-9901. If you would surrender it would make things go a lot quicker?” Hunter took a glance to see Admiral Tarkin standing behind the stormtroopers who had stopped advancing on them. Before he could voice his opinion an engine to his left had him smiling as he saw the Havok Marauder appear on the horizon. His smile faltered as he saw the weapons trained on his ship, he almost commed his team when the missiles exploded as a ship appeared out of nowhere shooting the enemy. It gave Hunter a chance to run towards the edge of the cliff, he leaped knowing his brothers would catch him. In a sequence practised before Hunter landed in the doorway of their ship smirking at the group of regular clones staring in disbelief. The only one not looking at him was Gregor who was glaring at Wrecker who had a hold of him.

Enemy fire followed them but it began to get distant as Echo put as much distance between them as possible. Something exploded on the ship, Tech mumbled and cursed quietly to himself as he and Echo directed to put the ship down far away from the facility and out of view of pretty much everything. The group find themselves sitting around a fire while Tech and Echo were trying to fix the ship. Hunter sat with Omega, Rex and Wrecker as they watched Thorn and Gregor off to the side, staring out towards the direction of their lost brother. Thorn was kicking himself for not going back, the two were under the watchful eye of Havok who leaned against a tree with his trusty gun next to him.
