Sharp alarms rang around the facility, Kix jumped instantly aware of the immediate danger. Across the room Shaak Ti looked at him with a subtle nod as she checked the monitors for the hallway cameras. The two were currently in Crux’s medical room. The injured Crux was slowly waking up hearing the alarms, “What's going on?” Crux asked, looking at the medic who frowned grabbing his own armour.
“Kix! Hide! It looks like Admiral Tarkin and stormtroopers are heading this way”. Kix nodded looking at his patient, “I won’t snitch, I promise. I owe you that much” Crux responded, tilting his head for Kix and Shaak Ti to hide in a nearby vent just behind the bed. As the vent closed, Crux steadied his heartbeat and closed his eyes just as the door to the room slammed open. Focusing on his breathing had more time for Crux to hear the amount of footsteps enter, there were four troopers and one noticeably pissed off Admiral Tarkin.
A hand was placed against his own forehead, Crux remained still but his face twisted, feeling how cold the hand was. “Crux?” the voice of his father reached his ears, groaning slightly when he felt someone prod his side. Crux opened his eyes only to see ES-06 and Admiral Tarkin staring down at him. “F..ather?” Crux stuttered making his voice sound hoarse to make it more realistic. “Can you move?” Tarkin asked, Crux nodded, hearing the slight care in his fathers voice. Two stormtroopers watched from the door while the other moved to turn the machines off. “Sir, he seems to have an injury caused by a lightsaber”, the nameless Stormtrooper spoke. Tarkin nodded looking over at his disposable son. Crux knew that look and he had a feeling he would be threatened soon. After a few minutes, Crux was steady on his feet and replacing his clothes and mask which had been taken from him. Tarkin nodded, gesturing for his son to follow him from the room, ES-06 walked next to Crux. He wouldn’t ever admit it but Crux had a ‘special’ relationship with his personal guard, ES-06. The other three stormtroopers followed behind the bounty hunter who respected all of them who worked under his father.
Once the room was clear, Kix made to step back into the medical room when Shaak Ti had the urge to run, so they scurried through the vents just in time. They managed to leave the facility just as the medical side exploded into little bits. Crux frowned from where he was standing beside his father as the medical section of the facility on Ord Mantell was destroyed. Tarkin smirked watching his death troopers look for any survivors amongst the wreckage. Crux pulled his hood further over his head when the bright sky assaulted his eyes. Inwardly, the bounty hunter prayed all the clones and their allies were out of the facility.
“Bring any prisoners to me personally so I can look them in the eye before they are killed on sight. That’s an order!” Admiral Tarkin barked out his demands, and all troopers nodded at him. “ES-06 get Crux back to my ship and wait for me there before we do clean up duty”. ES-06 nodded, gesturing for Crux to carry out the order, the bounty hunter groaned, pushing his body towards the Admiral’s ship. Sooner than later he had arrived in a private section of the ship and he was forcefully pushed against the wall with his mask lifted, he soon found desperate lips connecting with his. Without hesitation, Crux responded, kissing his partner unaware of the ambush waiting on him.
Meanwhile…
“Captain, I don’t approve of this plan. But, if this is what we have to go with. I am willing to help you” Obi-one whispered, looking at Captain Rex who was accompanied by Havok and Jesse. Rex nodded, waiting on the Admiral’s son. Who, as they predicted, came into the room followed by his guard. Inwardly Rex groaned when the next thing the guard did surprised the clones and Jedi master. Hearing a groan Jesse turned to Havok and whispered, “Please tell me they are not doing what I think they are doing?” Havok shook his head, “There is the intention but…” “Enough you two” The two clones looked at Rex, “On my mark, grab the guard while I and Obi-one grab Crux”. Havok and Jesse nodded looking at their brother who held up his fingers.
