Tarkin smirked from inside the doorframe, he watched the young clone attack CT-9904 ruthlessly without remorse. Pitiful, he expected CT-9904 to at least put up a fight but it seemed he had underestimated the clone once again. Looking around the room he noticed the clones yelling encouragement to CT-9904. Pathetic, he gestured for two individuals to come over. Whispering words of instruction, he watched the two nod before leaving his side.
Across the room Tech groaned feeling like he had a ship dropped on his head, there was a weight against his chest. Blinking his eyes open he noticed Echo’s body sprawled across him. Frowning, the pilot looked around the room to see his brothers slowly waking up but what made his eyes widen was Crosshair who seemed to be in a fight against a younger individual. Tech groaned in disbelief when he saw who he thought it was. It can’t be? He thought. Slowly he shifted, moving Echo who groaned awake looking at him, “What happened?” Echo asked. His question was soon forgotten when Fives yelled, “Crosshair!”.
Hearing his twin, Echo whipped around to see Crosshair take a blow to his shoulder from a blaster. Tarkin had shot him, the Admiral chuckled looking at the clone who looked back at him under the visor with a dark glare. Crosshair rolled out of the way, finding the nearest knife and throwing it with accuracy, knocking the blaster out of Tarkin’s hand. An inhumane growl left Omega’s vocal cords, inside she was crying but outside she was angry. The demon’s power flowed through her, she used it to her advantage, Crosshair rolled out of the way of another blast. He landed near Tech and Echo who looked at him with wide eyes, “Get out of here, set the clones free” he gritted his teeth in pain as he spoke. The two nodded at him before scrambling over to the clone's cage. “Echo, are you alright?” Fives asked his twin, Echo nodded. He felt dizzy but that was not the priority at the moment. Fives frowned but ignored the lie for the time being.
“Argh! Hold still!” Omega screamed, Crosshair winced when a blaster shot almost hit his head. Looking over he saw Omega holding Crosshair’s spare blaster. Wrecker jumped up hearing the inhumane scream, with wide eyes he looked up to see Crosshair fighting: Omega!?. The strongest of the batch noticed Tech and Echo struggling with the gate to the prison so he slowly trudged over. “Tech? I can’t get it open” Echo frustratingly growled, Tech placed an arm on his shoulder, “I’ve disabled the defences but it just won’t move” Tech explained. Rex looked at Clone Force 99 with a smile. “Move over” Tech and Echo did as Wrecker commanded. All of them watched as the big friendly giant grabbed the door and took it off its hinges.
“Nice one!” Fives cried out fist-bumping Wrecker and hugging Echo, who eagerly returned the affection. A pure scream of pain filtered through all their ears, the clones turned to see Asajj Ventress' lightsaber had gone straight through her stomach. Her body slumped to the floor, Crosshair was holding the saber with a grimace. Omega ran forward shooting her bow at the sniper who was caught off guard, her aim had improved so she caught him in the chest. Crosshairs body slammed into a nearby wall, he ragdolled to the floor before climbing to his feet, Omega screamed again. The sniper winced as her shout echoed off the temple’s walls.
“Give up CT-9904. You can’t beat me” Omega’s chilling dark voice rang out. All the clones stopped what they were doing to look over. Tech stopped near Hunter who remained on his knees gripping his head in pain but he looked up in pain to watch.
“That may be the case but I will not give up on my daughter” Crosshair gritted out between his teeth. Omega smiled walking over towards Crosshair. “Now tell me CT-9904, how are you going to save pure Omega from me?” The demon tilted its head as it took over Omega’s body, almost corrupting her spirit. Inside Omega fought the darkness with all her might but she was terrified.
Crosshair looked at his hands, he scrunched them up. He took a glance at the bad batch who watched with wide eyes. Looking up, Crosshair pulled his helmet off and threw it aside. “Crosshair, what are you doing?” Wrecker shouted, afraid for his baby brother. The demon smirked, “What is your plan now?”. Crosshair frowned as a memory came to the surface.
