The marksman of the group didn’t know how he felt going into somewhere blind and when he meant blind, he meant a blindfold over his eyes. He felt trapped but he wasn’t the only one suffering the same fate as him. All of the bad batch were blindfolded, they had all agreed to the contract from the four children who wore devilish smiles. Howzer smirked from where he was standing just outside of the cockpit while Fives and Wolffe were flying, he was enjoying the sight of the ruthless batch twitching and fiddling like children. Crosshair groaned when he felt someone wrap his hands together. The sniper wasn’t exactly thrilled about this task but he sat quietly while Omega worked on them. He knew straight away it was the young girl because of how loud her footsteps were.
A small amount of pressure made the sniper aware of his partner who had reached on instinct to squeeze Crosshair’s arm in fright. This made the marksman smile.
“Okay! All done!” The not so innocent voice of one of the twins, Crosshairs money was on Honey but he wouldn’t say it out-loud. “You may open your eyes now!” Honey exclaimed, Crosshair bit his lip to avoid any complications coming from his vocal cords. Omega realised their mistake and walked around all of them to take off all their blindfolds.
Howzer’s smile widened when he took in the bad batches looks of horror. They had all handed over a piece of the armour for the children to decorate and Crosshair being the smart one, had handed over one of his spare armour pieces that could clearly be swapped out for missions which was a shoulder pad. While the others hadn’t thought that far ahead. Crosshair found himself sniggering looking at his teammates who wore wild expressions, Hunter glared at the sniper who ignored him entirely, enjoying this too much.
Omega, Cal, Honey and Ash all high fived each other and soon found themselves brought into a hug from their dad. Crosshair smiled enjoying his children in his arms, this was a great way to pass time.
“We have ten minutes until we land, please get ready” Howzer stated, holding in his laugh. Hunter nodded at the captain with gritted teeth. He looked down at the glove which had pink glitter, feathers and googly eyes staring back up at him. It freaked him out a little, he was angry but it all faded when he saw the bright innocent smiles of his kids looking directly at him. Wrecker was loving the new design of what looked like horses with horns, Tech was quick to clarify them as mythical creatures nicknamed unicorns. These creatures ran down the inside of his leg armour, the giant didn’t really care as he showed his gratitude towards the children who smiled with happiness.
Tech remained quiet as he looked at his glove which had been painted to look like a circuit board, he was mesmerised so much that he forgot to speak. His words just didn’t work so he knelt down and pulled Cal and Ash into a hug knowing it was the young jedi’s idea in the first place. However, Echo was another story, the older clone felt like crying. He wasn’t bothered what armour he handed in, so he allowed the children to choose so they chose the chest plate. Crosshair had a word with them when they did, ensuring they were careful with it as the sniper personally didn’t feel like reinforcing it again. The four took in all the snipers words and got to work which resulted in what started the tears on Echo’s face.
The Havok Marauder landed quite violently, Echo was vaguely aware of Tech yelling at Fives for his so-called ‘landing’, his twin eagerly arguing back. Which soon came to a halt when Fives caught sight of his twin and hurried over. “Echo? What is it?!” Fives urged, noticing he was receiving no response, Fives followed Echo’s eyesight to the chest plate. Oh! Fives thought, he looked over to the four children who stood with worried eyes. Ash looked ready to cry himself and clung to Crosshairs leg. The sniper looked highly unamused. Fives took over and kneeled in front of the startled children, he had a question to ask. It maybe odd but it would take the attention of his twin for a little bit, “Can I ask you something?”. Four heads nodded in sync. Fives grinned, “Could you do my armour the same as Echo’s please?” Fives asked without hesitation. The four nodded eagerly. “Obviously it will have to wait until later since Wolfey needs to show us something…ow!” Fives grumbled as Howzer whacked him upside the head, he was about to retort when giggles reached his ears. Fives grin only widened. He mockingly bowed to the four children and said, “Well your majesties, it seems our conversation must come to an end as we embark on a tour with Mr Wolfey!”. Fives pulled a silly face granting more giggles even if he did end up getting hit, it was worth it.
